  Hello, fellow machines enthusiasts! We've made some graphics improvements and would like to share the results. What do you think? Day and Night We've dedicated some time to implementing a dynamic day and night cycle on our planet. You can truly feel that this world is alive, or at least used to be during its better times. Make sure to attach headlights to your robot and add some lamps in your outpost, as when the nearby star dips below the horizon, it can get quite dark. Environment lifting We've made significant changes to the atmosphere of the Wetlands biome, giving it a more mossy and natural ambiance, as it should be. The Desert biome has also undergone significant enhancements, featuring more intricate details. The sand dunes now intertwine with the fossils of long-dead plants and dried pits of salt. • Operation: Desert Storm - 11 August 2023

  Hey there! Let's dive right into new things: Desert biom There's no sci-fi game without a proper desert. Dune has it, Star Wars has it, we have it! How do you like it? GUI changes Now, bots are selected from the convenient wheel menu. You might recognize similar systems from other games, for example, when choosing weapons. We believe it's more intuitive than the previous numeric quick bar selection. We've also revamped the Bot Panel - a dashboard where you can access all information about the current state of your robots. It's much clearer now. • Crash Tests: Break The Robots - 25 July 2023

  Hey there! You already know that you can make robots in Bot Crafter. But did you know that you can also unmake them? Damage system We are currently working on the bot damage system. Your robot can lose HP due to overheating, radiation, or banging its head against the wall (collisions), which, as you can see in the preview below, is being worked on: Even though a destroyed bot breaks down into pieces, it can still have some usecase - the scrap that is left from it can be gathered and recycled, so some value will be retrieved. Crash enough of them and you get the junkyard all of a sudden. Biom retouch The Wetlands biome has been retouched. Now it has a more greenish and mossy vibe compared to the previous iteration.   Hello there! Thanks for stopping by ːsteamthumbsupː As you've probably noticed, we are making a game about robots. Why? The first stage of the colonization of other planets will most likely be carried out by machines. Thanks to them, we are already conducting stunning research on Mars. Robots (rovers) like Curiosity, Perseverance, and Ingenuity are out there gathering data. We want to extend this idea of space bots operating on foreign planets and bring it to you to play with. We will be regularly posting updates here about Bot Crafter's overall development progress, new features, insights, bloopers, and behind-the-scenes content to show off or get your thoughts on. So make sure to wishlist and follow the game – it's really helpful to us! And for those who have already done that – thank you.
