Update #4 Now Live Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where players could not exit a dustbin while the basketball ability was active. Level Design Adjustment: Blocked off a section on Floor 3 to prevent players from entering unintended areas. This makes progression more linear and reduces confusion. Additional Hints: Added more in-game hints to better guide players through key moments. New Cutscene: A new cutscene has been added after the boss fight (Good Ending) to deliver a more satisfying conclusion. More minor fixes and tweaks will follow in the coming days and weeks. Hi everyone, I'm Matthew, CEO of The Iterative Collective, the publisher of Scarred. I want to personally apologize for the rough launch and the frustration many of you have experienced. We know you expected more, and we should have delivered better. Scarred was developed by KOEX Studio, a solo indie developer who has poured an incredible amount of time, effort, and heart into creating this game over the last 3 years. As the publisher, it was our role to support that vision and make sure the final release met the quality bar players deserve. On that front, we fell short. Our QA and testing processes were not thorough enough, and we take full responsibility for that. At the same time, we’ve had honest conversations with KOEX Studio, and we both acknowledge that more time should have been taken. The decision to move ahead with the release was a shared one. Fixed some AI bugs There's one more short story extension that I am hoping to include in the next few updates that might change the perspective of the whole story. Hi everyone, First off, thank you to everyone who's played Scarred and taken the time to share feedback. As a solo developer, I deeply appreciate your support and honesty. I've been closely monitoring your reports and have already released an update addressing several key issues: ✅ Patch Notes Mouse Sensitivity: Adjusted for smoother control. Final Level Difficulty: Reduced to enhance playability. Unable to Exit Note Viewing: Fixed by adding a new button to exit. Item Collection Bug: Resolved the issue causing players to get stuck. Diary Interaction: Fixed so you can no longer interact with the world while the diary is open. Barrel Tutorial: Added guidance for pushing barrels. I understand there are still bugs and areas needing improvement. Please know that I'm actively working on these, but as a solo developer, it may take some time.
