• Bug fixes. - 9 February 2025

  Fixed Lap counter and checkpoints not registering. Fixed the reset kart button to match the tracks rotation and stop falling off. Updated character select screen to include small info box about the Vtubers with clickable Twitch and Bluesky/Twitter links. I fixed other bugs and stuff that I cant remember right now. Mostly network replication stuff like visuals not displaying for everyone etc. Also disabled movement/controller input for players during starting countdown. You can move as soon as it hits GO! on screen. Thanks again for checking out the game, leaving reviews, and joining the discord to report bugs and suggest game content. Next patch should have some new character and items. Doing my best to add content quickly sorry.

• Southside Racing hotfix 1 - 30 January 2025

  How's it Goattin? Fixed the pause menu bug. Hitting Escape will open a pause menu instead of taking you back to the main menu. Added controls to options so players can actually see what the game controls are (whoops). Added the custom gravity system to allow players to drive on all kinds of weird/upside down racetracks. :WIP features for next patch: Customize karts with Vtuber themed stickers that change your vehicles tats (more turbo, faster top speed, better handling, etc.) Import your own .vrm based characters to drive the kart. Time attack mode for single player. Thanks again for all the interest and positive reviews for Southside Racing. • SouthSide Racing Released - 28 January 2025

  Southside Racing is now available free on Steam! Currently it's a single track with a speed boost item and speed boost portal. I need to see how physics work with public multiplayer games before I start added the rest of game content. I'll do my best to release game updates once a week with new items, karts, and/or levels. Don't forget to join the Discord and Bluesky listed on the steam page to see game progress updates, peeks at upcoming content, and to suggest/vote on this going into the game.
