• Farewell to eSheep: A Heartfelt Thank You - 30 January 2025

  Dear eSheep users, This is Computer Knopf, the developer of eSheep. Unfortunately, I have to share some difficult news with you today. eSheep started as a passion project, created with dedication and joy. However, the reality is that maintaining and further developing the software is no longer sustainable in the long run. After careful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to discontinue the development of eSheep and remove it from download availability. Existing installations of eSheep will continue to function as usual, so you can keep using the program without restrictions. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and used eSheep.   For all those who use the eSheep on the desktop, everything remains as before... Unless you are a streamer on Twitch! Integrate eSheep into your stream and let the sheep show the messages of the chat participants while they run over your livestream. The stream plugin includes the Twitch chatbot and an advanced options menu to customize the performance and display in the broadcasting software according to your own preferences. The Twitch plugin has the following functions: Guided integration of the eSheep into Twitch with step-by-step instructions. The required keys are generated on your own PC - no external services (except Twitch) required. The number of sheep on the screen can either be preset or dynamically adjusted to the number of participants in the chat.   Troubleshooting: Achievements: The data is now being saved correctly and synchronized every 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the data collected so far has been inconsistent and contained errors. I have resolved this as follows: If you have already started the sheep more than 5 times and only 3 instances have been saved, you will need to start the sheep two more times to obtain the achievement. If more startup instances have already been saved, you will receive the achievement immediately. This naturally applies to all achievements. Window recognition further improved. Issue with parachute animation resolved. New features: Weather animations: Occasionally, a few clouds, the sun, or a rainbow will hover above the sheep.   Hello, a lot of things happened during the update to version 1.2: Bugs which were fixed: When playing video in fullscreen, windows were still detected in the background under certain circumstances. When dropping the sheep below the taskbar, it could get stuck there. New functions: Completely reworked setup menu! > New design Screenshot function: Can be activated via the menu. The desired key is preset to "F12", but can be freely defined. The created screenshots are automatically uploaded to steam and can be published there. New animations: The sheep can now color its fur. The colors change through like a rainbow. When the sheep gets bored it occasionally makes a soap bubble which rises and bursts.

  Hello, in my latest update the following has been changed: Bugfixing: Puff was fixed Software was optimized for streaming New options: Previously there was one sheep - now you can have up to 99 sheep running across your screen at once. See-through function: in a certain radius around the mouse pointer the sheep are hidden to ensure a trouble-free work. Single sheep blow up balloons from time to time to rise up with them until they burst.

• Last major update before release - 18 July 2023

  Hello, there have been some great expansions for the game lately. I would like to present them briefly here. Here is a summary of what has been added now: Options menu: Settings option for automatic start with Windows added Languages: The settings menus are now available in the following languages: English, German, French and Spanish. The language should be set automatically at the first start. If this doesn't work you can also set this via the options menu. Achievements: Six achievements can be achieved. Be surprised which ones!
