This is a real-time ARPG - Strategy game, but don't worry about microing in real time... you can slow down the time at any moment to strategically have a view of the battlefield and decide which units to send to a certain enemy and which spells to cast. This makes strategic decisions more accurate and gives you the time to think. ARPGs and RPGs usually don't give you much control over your summoned units.
