New languages available Hello everyone! Over the past few months we have been working on a major expansion of the languages available in The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles. The game was originally written in Italian, and from the start it was also available in English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese, professionally translated from the original text. We have now added a new group of languages: French Spanish German Brazilian Portuguese Polish Turkish Latin Yes, Latin too. It is a small easter egg, but we like to think it may finally give students an unbeatable excuse: "I am not playing, I am revising the third declension inside a dungeon full of questionable monsters". The Hyper-Dungeon Gauntlet officially begins, the Challenge that allows the fastest and most determined players to earn a permanent place inside The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles. Your task is simple to explain but tough to accomplish: complete a full clean and verifiable speedrun using the Destroyer archetype, the hardest mode focused on combat. The 10 fastest players will be immortalised in the game as NPCs in a special level of the Hyper-Dungeon with an animated sprite, two portraits and a short dialogue line translated into all supported languages. The absolute champion will receive an additional reward: they will become a secret boss on level 47, a fully optional boss based on the winner. The Challenge is open to everyone. Many players pointed out that some combat encounters felt too difficult or in some cases even frustrating. Our intention was never to create unnecessary barriers simply some dynamics become clear only when the game reaches thousands of different players. The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles is one such release. Indie developer Fix-a-Bug's dungeon crawler is one of the best RPGs to cross my table in a while; I was totally sold ten minutes in, and another hour had melted away before I even realized it. Combining D&D-style classes with a unique combat system and an unserious attitude that calls Undertale to mind, it's free to try thanks to a robust Steam demo, and a bargain price if you want the full thing.
