• Release Date for Mystic Land - 23 November 2025

  We wanted to let you know that, after lots of discussions with the team, we came up with a realistic release date for Mystic Land. A date that we are confident that we can "honor".So, the game is set to be released on 21st of October, 2026 with a fully featured public demo releasing a few months prior to the release of the game (aiming for June, 2026).These dates are set because we believe we can develop the game by then. And not only develop, but also test, polish and balance the game as much as we (as a small studio) possibly can.

  Big Announcement for Mystic Land: The Search for MaphaldoAfter numerous tests and experiments, we’re excited to confirm that Mystic Land will include an option for smooth party movements and turns.And we’re not talking about pixel zoom tricks or pre-rendered image pans - this is a true 3D environment that will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into a vibrant fantasy world.Prefer the classic old-school 2D grid-hopping style? Don’t worry - the 2D engine isn’t going anywhere. You’ll be able to switch between engines mid-game with a single key press (yes, it’s THAT simple!).Check out the attached YouTube video showcasing first 2 minutes of gameplay in the new 3D engine. It’s still a work in progress - models aren’t polished yet, escpecially the floor and ceiling - but it should give you a great preview of how the game plays in full 3D.

• Public Beta Demo postponed - 25 May 2025

  We’re sorry, but due to unforeseen circumstances - and the fact that we’re still adding a few major features to the game (like a battle mode upgrade) - we need to postpone the public demo release to the end of summer or autumn at the latest (exact date will be announced soon). We’ll also be canceling our participation in next month’s Steam NextFest and will instead aim for the following one. We just want the public demo to really show what the game will look and feel like when it’s fully released. And right now, we don’t think the current demo version does that (for the reasons mentioned above). If you’d like to try out alpha demo builds and support our work, you’re more than welcome to join us on Patreon.

• Public Beta Demo Release Date Change - 19 April 2025

  Just a quick note: We've moved the release date for the public beta demo to May 27th. We need a bit more time to polish the demo and get it as close as possible to the final release version of the game. If you'd like to play early (test and preview) versions of the demo (and the full game), get insider updates on development, and support what we're doing (with some nice perks along the way, like access to physical editions of the game), then you can check out our Patreon site. Our supporters are already playing early alpha version of the demo for about a month now - and we received some great feedback from them!
