• GAMBLING UPDATE - SEASON 5 - 16 July 2025

  With this update, we are introducing gambling to the mix. With the new gamble game mode, if you fall you are given a second chance by spinning a wheel. Will you climb back up, or suffer the consequences of your gambling addiction. Enjoy.

• Patch 1.5.7 - 25 January 2025

  - Fixed the achievement bug, all achievements are now unlockable. - There are 14 collectables scattered around the map which have to be collected in order to unlock the Globe Trotter achievement (including rare collectables).

• SEASON 4 UPDATE + NEW MAP PROGRESS - 26 July 2024

  Hey everyone, season 4 is finally here with new content and enhancements. In this new season, many ancient bugs have been squashed and new content has been added. A list of the changes can be found below. Patch notes: - Added Speed Soda Item - Refreshed the seasonal leaderboard - Reduced spawn rate of Bounce Berry - Reduced the number of achievement collectibles - Fixed a bug where crouching would clip through the floor - Fixed a bug where equipping an item would not visually appear for others - Minor performance changes Hop in to check out all the new changes! • Patch 007 - 2 March 2024

  We were aware of an issue where the collectable achievements were not working and that the previous patches did not fix this issue. We have now reworked the achievement system which should now grant the 'Exotics Collector' after finding the 2 Rare collectibles and the 'Globe Trotter' achievement after collecting all 29 collectables scattered across the map in the same session (which includes the 2 rare collectables). Additionally, we have brought in two new achievements which are granted for using trap items. • SEASON 3 UPDATE - 1 March 2024

  Hey players, season 3 is here with new exciting content and improvements to gameplay. With this new season we made sure to look at player feedback, which is why we decided to make a change to one of the starting paths in the very beginning of the map which is meant to make gameplay much more streamlined. Patch notes: - Replaced 'red pillar' area with a new streamlined path. - Added new Bouncy Berry item. - Added a new season 3 leaderboard. - Added a new height indicator that tracks you and your friends' height. - Added two new cosmetic items. - Fixed a bug where players could manipulate the time they got on the global leaderboard. - Fixed a bug where players could not attain the collectable achievements.   Only Upwards: With Friends Release! The game has just officially launched. Hop in and host your own lobbies with up to 8 players! Be warned, the game is not as easy as it looks. Complete the game to see the ending cinematic along with your personal time. Additionally, you will also unlock the training mode, where you can teleport to various points on the map to practice those pesky jumps. JOINING FRIENDS You can join your friends with one of two ways. 1. Using the steam friends system. Right click on friend->Join Game. 2. Using the in-game server browser, which displays all currently hosted public lobbies on Only Upwards. CONTENT ROADMAP For the forseeable future of Only Upwards, we plan to provide the game with weekly content and map updates.
