  It's a good day for a Steam event and small teaser screenshot of what we're building. Cabbie! is taking part in the Tiny Car Games event starting today and running until Star Wars Day (WYKYK).   Hello cabbies! With ongoing work to make the full game as awesome as possible there are some alterations we want to make to the demo so that it’s more in line with what you’ll expect from the full game, so we’re bringing an exciting update for you to play and enjoy.It has the following changes amongst a bunch of minor bug fixes:We’ve made the decision for the boss level to be held off until the finale of the game, instead of the end of each world, so our giant chaser Sheeplet has retired and is living happily on an island with her family, so this level has been removed.An extra level from World 1 has been added in for you to try out and see if you can beat our challenging Starleaf scores!The training level has had an overhaul to introduce our new character Coney! • Cabbie! Demo 1.6 Out Now - 3 May 2025

  Hi there cabbies! We have an update with fewer but significant changes: Major update with 1.6: The scoring 'Tip' system has been updated to a new 'Happiness Meter' where you must keep the Meeplets happy by ensuring you keep completing fares, don't lose any, and stop the Sheeplets destroying the town; the higher the happiness level the higher the tip!! Other updates: The parking space in front of a building will start flashing from the time a Meeplet is coming out, so everyone will know where the next job is. Code optimizations which make the game run even smoother. Bug fixes: Fixed a game-breaking bug where the game occasionally entered a screen with no options to continue after completing the tutorial; Fixed vehicles colliding in menus which made them fall off podiums. During the tutorial the correct input prompt will appear when at the charging station throughout all tutorial stages.…

  Back by popular demand, we are bringing collision between cabbies for that extra bit of spice. We've gathered loads of amazing feedback over the past month at various in-person events and we've listened to you. Thank you for being there, playing and showing your love for Cabbie! and helping make it even more fun! Here's a list with all the major 1.5 changes and the previous 1.4 changes: Default Taxi level time shortened to 2:30; Cab collision enabled; Going through a menu before launching Steam when pressing the Wishlist button; Celebration fireworks when defeating Boss and on podiums; Ping system that triggers when attemping to use an empty battery or if attempting to deliver at the wrong address; Better visibility for net in level 1; With levels being shorter, we've halved the scores and re-set the save game as the highscore will not be achievable anymore. • Cabbie! Demo 1.3 for Valentine's day - 14 February 2025

  Happy Valentine's Day, Cabbies! We're bringing you Cabbie Demo 1.3. We wanted to furtherly improve the gameplay fun so we've worked on different updates than the ones promised in our previous post. We will be bringing those much needed boss and post-match improvements in Demo 1.4. With this said, Demo 1.4 will now be the last major demo update before we'll go and build the rest of the game so you can play MORE! Lots of love, Cabbie's Buddies Updates: You now earn score for zapping Sheeplets; World 01 Level 03 now also has fireworks for awesome jumps; Bug fixes: Score UI above your character no longer overlaps the job or interact UI that also appears in the same location; Post match celebrations screen shows the correct icon to continue for keyboard players, instead of the incorrect icon; Exit prompt in the pause menu no longer disappears when you repeatedly pause;

  Hi there Cabbies! We're excited to share with you a BIG Cabbie! update in Demo 1.2, right on time for Steam Co-Op fest and Yorkshire Games Festival UK next week. Better messaging, even MORE SHEEP, a new character customisation option and fireworks!! We're currently looking to improve the Boss and End-Match celebration experience along with some final few bugs. Demo 1.3 will the be final major update to the Demo before we go back and finish the rest of the game! • Cabbie! Demo Update Version 1.1 - 22 January 2025

  Hi everyone, We're very grateful for everyone that's wishlisted and played our demo so far. Based on initial feedback we're doing a few updates to our demo to improve your play experience. In this update we've done the following: UI: Added input info to the pause menu to highlight all control schemes; Added a Menu prompt to the level select UI; Improved tutorial prompts; Improved coin animation when gaining score; Added version number; Vehicle: Matching reverse speed with acceleration speed; Improved handbreak turn; Controls: In acceleration mode, slowing down the car faster for better control; Sheeplets: Spawning sheeplets less often; Meeplets: More vivid colours; Hoping these updates will help everyone get those busy meeplets to where they need to go.   Hello, We’re very excited to let you know that our demo is now available to download and play!! You can play solo or team up with up to three friends, either locally or with Remote Play Together. The demo gives you access to play as the game’s first four characters, Cabbie, Nova, Clutch and Journey. After a short tutorial you get to take on two levels and a boss from the first world. We really appreciate your support and hope you enjoy our demo!
