You are now able to customize all of your guns to your liking!Launch the game before August 31. and get a free crate where you can choose a skin or a charm for free! How it worksA crate dropped once per day. After 15 minutes of gameplay, the crate will drop once you complete a heist! Crates can also be bought and sold on the community market. Once you own a crate, you can open it and select a skin or charm to purchase using heist coins. Even two years on, Starbreeze Studios seems intent on trying to breathe new life in Payday 3. In the meantime, it's handed the reins for Payday 2 over to Sidetrack Games, who are by all accounts doing a great job of continuing to support the classic. But my attention is elsewhere. I've been getting my heist fix from One-Armed Robber , a free Steam game with a unique twist on the format. - Skills! - 13 March 2024
It’s time to become the best one-armed version of yourself, and become a skillful robber! Skills are now a part of one-armed robber, giving you the ability to unlock skills to suit your playstyle, and gain an advantage in heists. Skills such as “Scavenger” which will give you more ammo from police ammo drops, or “Saboteur” which will speed up your powerbox sabotage speeds! To acquire these skills you will have to research them, you pay cash to start the research, the skill research will then progress when you play the game, once the research is finished, the skill will be unlocked and automatically equipped. You can research multiple skills at once, but your research XP will be divided equally among the skills. Each skill has 3 tiers, each one a little better than the last, once a tier is completed, you will be able to see and research the next tier.
- Sounds and Music! - 22 February 2024
An aspect of the game that has been lacking has been the sounds. A lot of items have had missing sound effects, and ambient sounds and music were non-existent. But not anymore! A lot of you have also been asking for this update for a long time, and we’ve spent a lot of time finding and recording sounds. This update adds sounds to a lot of new things, this includes sound fx for objects, but also ambient and environment sounds. As well as a bunch of sound effects, this update also adds music! This includes menu music, and music for when the alarm is tripped ingame. Some of this music is temporary, while we work on creating our own original music for the game. We’ve also added a few more achievements
- Achievements - 21 February 2024
You will now be able to unlock achievements by completing various challenges and tasks in-game. There are more than 30 achievements to unlock, ranging from Picking locks to killing police! Although many of you might technically already have reached one or more achievements during your time playing the game previously, that unfortunately won’t count towards progress for the achievements. And all achievement progress will only start counting from this update forward!
- Rodman research facility update - 2 February 2024
We’ve slightly changed the layout of the map to make it a little easier and to give you some more ways to complete the heist. A warehouse has been added to the back of the building, giving you another place to enter through. The layout of the building is still the same on the inside except for the new entrance. The value of the beakers has also been increased to match the difficulty and length of the map. The map has also been upgraded visually in some places by adding some more details, and changing the overall look of some areas.
