The Feline Fix was our first experiment withDark Ride— our attempt to see what a theme park attraction could feel like if it was built from the beginning for VR. • The Real Deal (Mostly) - 11 March 2026

  For a long time now we have been working towards this day. To actually put you nice people into a weird little car and drive you down a weird little path we made for it. A dark ride! Welcome to Dark Ride: Sweet Dreams our new FREE VR adventure.Because we were so unsure of everything, this is not the only ride we have made.   Soon we will be releasing a new game in Early Access. It’s a subset of a chunk of a piece that fits into the master plan. But it’s a very very critical piece. It’s a legitimate VR dark ride. A dark ride is a classic Disney concept where the original concept was to let people “ride the movies” - a tagline later stolen by a competitor. • Hard Hats and Party Hats - 19 December 2025

  We’re closing out the year at Paleozoic with a few wins under our belt. To name a few:* We went to the **Unity conference in Barcelona** and ate tapas and froze on the beach. * We brought on a new developer* We brought on a full time composer (what?)* We released our **first mini-game** on the **Meta Store** for **Quest 3**. * Managed to port the same game over to Oculus.* Managed again! • Chasing Cozy, and Finding It - 12 December 2025

  Woooo... Seems appropriate. We released a thing on Steam! The team can ship! We’re learning about some of the edge cases we need to be better at. Mostly controllers it seems. And that’s good. That’s a real world problem with actual answers. The worry was more that people would not like the actual “thing” we built. The vibe and the "why." But actually the feedback on that has been really nice. And actually kind of heart warming. We hoped to hear that all-too-trendy term used these days —“cozy” - and we did! Can there be better feedback than that your game is cozy? Like a warm blanket or a purring cat. We started this whole thing to make spaces in VR that people wanted to be in. • Welcome to the game. The waiting game. - 12 November 2025

  We really hated looking at a blank community page here. So to kick things off... An update nobody asked for yet! We recently released our first VR title on Meta. https://www.meta.com/experiences/dark-ride-the-feline-fix/32643999985198449/ We're tackling the stores and platforms one by one though. And Steam is coming up next. This is the one that actually feels real to us. We're more Steam people than Meta people so we can't wait to actually release a game here and start making friends. VR is such a small but great community and we're looking forward to putting our name on the map. Now. We just have to wait for next month when Steam says we've waited long enough in game purgatory to let you all (who are not here yet) give it a try.
