• Quick fix for Mac Achievement - 17 March 2026

  The achievement should be fixed. (Sorry about that, it was a library loading issue unique to Mac.) If you've already beaten the game on Mac, going to a completed file and walking doing the very last "maze" will unlock the achievement.

  "20 Small Mazes" is officially Steam Deck verified! Wooho!!! "Strange Jigsaws", my next game, is coming along well and I'm hoping to release it this summer.   I'm continuing to work to improve the game. Some larger fixes: -Added controller glyphs for most puzzles, and some controller support. This is an ongoing project. Some puzzles are still difficult to do with controller (Five-Year-Old, Draft) and one you still can't do (Enter Password). I'm hoping to add full controller support soon. -Made performance improvements. This is an ongoing project. I am working at rewriting the main puzzle selection code, which is really not performant. I also was able to reduce the size of the game download by 50%. Some smaller changes: -Changed menu text to show the game saves automatically -Changed new game maze to clarify that each slot is a new game -Added a clarification to not click on my kid's maze to start moving the dot -Added version number -Changed font size on the resolution dropdown -Ensured default resolution on Steam Deck is correct -Fixed a bug…

• Small Update #2 (And 200,000+ downloads!) - 18 March 2024

  Two small updates: -Added a 4K resolution option -Ensured the options button was always on top, so it couldn't be covered up and lost under the mazes ALSO "20 Small Mazes" passed 230,000 downloads recently! That is a crazy number! I am extremely grateful, and the response to "20 Small Mazes" will be a memory I will always cherish. I've really enjoyed reading your reviews, how much you liked my daughter's artwork, and how much you truly hated the sliding puzzle. My next game won't have a sliding puzzle, maybe. • Small Update #1 - 22 February 2024

  Made a few changes: 1. Added a brightness slider in the options. 2. Gravity has been having some intermittent issues. I made a few adjustments, and also added a reset. Now if you press "r" the puzzle should reset. 3. For the Password puzzle, you no longer need to press "enter" to enter the password. -FLEB

  Made a small change to climb to try to prevent the dot from escaping if the maze is moving quickly while changing floors. -FLEB

  Fixed two bugs: 1. Fixed issue where two pieces could move at once in the sliding maze 2. Fixed issue where switching between puzzles while solving climb could result in odd stair behaviors. -FLEB

  Fixed a bug where if you went to the options menu right after beating the game and clicked "return to game", it overwrote your save file. -FLEB

  Just one bugfix this time. Fixed an issue where if you put the dot two squares below the exit on the sliding puzzle, and moved the piece down, the puzzle solved itself. -FLEB

  Fixed two issues: 1. Make climb more robust. This should take care of the intermittent issues with that puzzle. 2. Fixed a bug where a very specific set of menu transitions could erase your save file. -FLEB
