New year, new patch! As usual, I've just polished a few things up for a smoother Celbugging experience. Version 1.04 Changelog Changes Cleaned up some files to reduce the size of the game. Changed the icon of the character speaking in the game's final cutscene. A reference to "Battles" has been changed to "Bug Battles" for clarity. (Cel)Bug Fixes Super long Celbug names weren’t being displayed correctly in the header of their info boxes. The dialogue icons introduced in v1.03 had a small visual bug in which, on some resolutions, there was a small gap between the dialogue box and the character's picture. - All About Bug Battles - 9 September 2023
The Celbugs are blighted by pesky, square-shaped Gnats. It's up to you to lead them into Bug Battles, and rescue other Celbugs! In each Bug Battle, you'll be presented with a board of Gnats. You select Celbugs at the bottom of the screen, and then click on the board to place them. Depending on the colours of the Gnats you place your Celbug on, you'll net different amounts of points. You'll score a decent amount of points if you can match the colours of the Celbug's cells with the colours of the gnats. You'll score TONS of points, though, if you match opposite colours - indicated by the colour wheel in the bottom right of the screen. An example of a fantastic Celbug placement. Gnats come in all shapes and sizes. Well, that's a lie, actually, because they're always squares... and always the same size. BUT, they can have all sorts of special effects.
