Hello Golfing Gladiators,You almost certainly noticed the lack of updates and leaderboard resets the past few months. Here is a post explaining why, and what changes are happening going forward.Why the lack of updates and leaderboard resets? I'm busy, and only got busier. So to combat this, there will be two main changes, both of which kinda already happenedLeaderboards are moving from monthly to quarterly. The overall leaderboards remain unchanged, its only the resetting ones that will have their reset timings changeThe highlighted levels will be ceasing. Their intended goal was to foster friendly competition in the community, and they unfortunately failed at doing so. Hello Archie Attackers, If you have been keeping a close eye, and I mean very close, on the Steam page recently you may have noticed a few changes. Unfortunately, Disaster Golf's publisher, VoxPop Games, is closing. Hippo Havoc will be self-publishing Disaster Golf going forward. What does this mean for the game and for you, the players? For the game, nothing unplanned will be happening. We have one more update in the pipeline, then Disaster Golf will be going into a stasis state. As members of the team want to work on it, we will, but no planned updates will be coming out after the next one. I want to reiterate, this is not a result of VoxPop's closure. These include: Friends-only filter for the leaderboard! See which of your friends is the fastest, and compete with them, and only them! Note that scores will still appear on the global leaderboard, and your global rank will be shown New disaster help button. When hovering over a disaster in the selection screen, a new "?" button appears in the top right corner. Click it to see what that disaster does! Disaster Video changes. The disaster tutorial videos in the bottom right are now a global toggle, turning it off for one will turn it off for all. Icon for David's! It has been a long time coming, but Disaster Golf is finally out. From a year of development as a university capstone project and almost two years after, its been a long and crazy ride.
