Dear J.U.L.I.A.: Among the Stars enthusiasts, I would like to wish you all Happy New Year and lots of great games in 2018! We are still knee-deep in production of our new game Someday You'll Return, but I am still in my limited free time doing some small adjustments to J.U.L.I.A. + helping those of you who have problems with the game. I am getting quite a few emails about your desires to have a localization of this game into various languages (with the prevailing being Russian language). To be honest, it's very expensive and time-consuming issue for us, so I would like to understand how many of you are really interested in various languages. Hello everyone, I tracked down another issue which started to happen more often now - sometimes interface got stuck for no particular reason on the screen. I managed to implement a fix which should help. If your savegame has this issue, please return to probe and back on the planet. This should fix your savegames. All the best in 2017! Jan

- Missing cursor fix - 20 November 2016
Hello everyone, I've just pushed an update to the game, which somehow deals with those of you who experienced lost cursor. Please note, that the situation is far from ideal, but it's better than not having any kind of fix. TL;DR; version: if you experience lost cursor, press F11 and IMMEDIATELY return into probe (through the upper interface icon). It will fix it for you without further consequences. Long version (tech lingo and all that, so feel free to stop reading now): The case of a disappearing cursor is a complex and long one. First of all, it never occured to me and it's obviously hardware related (intel gfx cards are susceptible) so I never saw the cause, only the effect. After spending a lot of time trying to kill this beast, I traced it down to libraries engine is using, something which even with my best effort is for me unable to mend. Dear community, due to a "bluescreen event" caused by my brain I somehow managed to upload incomplete version of Untold. This is now fixed so please restart your Steam client and start a fresh game for a maximum experience. My apologies for that! --Jan

- German version and DLC just arrived! - 12 January 2016
After incredible wait we're back with a fully german version and DLC. To switch the language version, access properties of the game and on the "languages" tab switch the language. Be warned that it's a long download, though. Also you might notice that a DLC is being available. It contains game soundtrack, beautiful hintbook and as a bonus a game called J.U.L.I.A.: Untold. It's a puzzle game based upon the blueprint construction puzzle from J.U.L.I.A.: Among the Stars and offering 5 unique pieces of story before the game actually happened. As we are currently rushing towards completion a strange behavior occured. Some of you might have experienced dowloading version which was empty. It was probably connected to german package but we are not sure why that happened. I removed the package for now so I hope you will be able to properly launch the game and I apologize for this inconvenience. If anything happens to your installation, please let me know and I will investigate further. Together with the German version the game will get a much needed update fixing the issues at Zenobia where some of the players experie…

Hello everyone, it's been a long time and some of you might have suspected that we disappeared. Quite the opposite! We can't be working harder but unfortunately things got a bit complicated. Let me fill you up with the news: 1. we are currently beta testing german version of J.U.L.I.A.: Among the Stars. This will be a free update for everyone requiring just a version switch. However - it's a full localization with well over 40 000 words and fully voiced. It took us almost half a year to get it in shape and there are still things to fix! This brought an extra set of problems and I had to seriously touch the game core to be able to fully localize it. Which brings me to the following issue: 2. Bug fixes. So far I am trying my best to fix your savegames so please keep them coming. However some of emails come back as undeliverable. If you didn't receive your fix, please chime in. BUT! I will…

I would like to thank all the players for joining J.U.L.I.A.: Among the Stars universe. It's incredible to see fan contents pouring in. It's also frustrating to see how some of you have to suffer some of the bugs which slipped by my tired eyes. Rest assured that I do address them as fast as possible. Those of you who sent me savegames are getting these back fixed and I hope you continue enjoying the game. I've just commited fixes to the following issues: - Museum scripture window no longer stays on screen if you exit via the probe skip (actually this option was a bug) and instead you can correctly access interface help question mark. - StarMap puzzle correctly resets if you don't solve it and choose to exit the puzzle instead. - Weapon construction is no longer hiding UI if exited without completion.
