- The NIGHTMARE is closer! - 4 August 2026
Phew! 🟡 It's been a while! I've been busy with my latest release and a few other cool projects, but rest assured, the upcoming top-secret-super-horror-depressing game I've been teasing for a while is coming along nicely.🟡 I'm already preparing some fancy Steam assets, and I hope I'll soon be able to put up the public Steam page so you can wishlist it and see what I've been up to lately! Sometimes it's good to let a project rest for a while, take a few steps back, and then return to it. Suddenly it feels fresh again, and the ideas start flowing once more.🟡 For this game, I admit I've taken a bit of a different approach than usual. When I started, I was mostly inspired by some Kojima stuff, but I didn't necessarily have a clear direction. Over time, the project became a sort of blank canvas where I loosely sketched ideas, added a few brushstrokes of madness, poured in some personal fee…
- FINALLY! - 17 July 2026
After almost three years of work, The Crimson Maid is finally here!My friend at GrimTalin and I have just released the most beautiful game we've ever created, and we're incredibly excited to finally share it with you. At the same time, I'm also hard at work on several new projects that I've been gradually revealing in my previous posts. If you haven't played The Crimson Maid yet, now's the perfect time to give it a try! It features almost everything you've come to expect from my games: the supernatural, beautiful atmospheric locations, drama... more drama... and, of course, a gorgeous coffin you'll get to open. (By now you probably know that every one of my games has to include one!) If you enjoy the game, please consider leaving us a short Steam review. It really helps us reach more players and means a lot to a small team like ours. Thank you so much for supporting my work. This is shap…

- The most terifying thing - 13 February 2026
Hi everyone, and welcome back to my weekly announcements! I hope you’re all doing well and feeling happy.🟡 Last week, I told you the story behind why I put coffins in all my games — and why you always have to pry them open. Quite a story, wasn’t it? Thank you to everyone who joined my small Discord community. It truly means a lot to me!Today, I’d like to talk a bit about what I want to achieve with my next game, for which I’ve already started sharing screenshots in these announcements.🟡 As you may already know, my games tend to lean toward psychological horror. This time, however, I’ve decided to explore a more confrontational and visceral direction. I’m thinking that combining visceral themes with psychological elements could result in something very powerful — especially if the game leans into a deeply depressive mood. And yes, this one will carry a strong, heavy atmosphere.🟡 Altho…
- COFFINS - why? - 6 February 2026
WHY COFFINS???🟡 As promised in the last update, I want to explain why opening a coffin is something you do in all my games and the story behind, along with a few new screenshots from a scene I’m currently working on. 🟡 This might sound like a story from Mr. Ballen, but here it is.I have a friend — or rather, someone close to me — a family man and seemingly a good Christian, who always felt uneasy about my games and my dark/edgy personality. Not disgust, but discomfort with dark themes, borderline blasphemy, death, and violence. I used to tease him with morbid jokes until one day he opened up and told me something genuinely disturbing. He once attended the wake of his best friend’s father. The body wasn’t displayed in a small chapel, but in a large building in the middle of the cemetery. Because it’s old and busy, multiple funerals happen daily, meaning multiple bodies are displayed in…
- A NEW NIGHTMARE - 29 January 2026
Are you ready for more?🟡 First of all, I want to thank you for the engagement on my previous post. I honestly wasn’t expecting so many people to be active after more than a year of silence — so thank you again!🟡 Naturally, this motivates me to start posting here more often. I hope I’ll keep my word, even though I admit my relationship with social media and consistent posting has always been… complicated. That said, today I feel inspired — and more importantly, I finally have more to show you from the new project I’m working on.About the upcoming game🟡 If you’re wondering what the game is called, I’ll keep that top secret for now. Steam has a habit of moving new game announcements into obscure corners where they get buried forever, so I’d rather be cautious for now.🟡 That said, below you’ll find new screenshots from the game — locations I’ve already completed and fully implemented wi…
- WHAT GAME IS THIS??? - 15 January 2026
Hello everyone! I know I’ve been absent for a while, though not inactive.🟡 2025 has been one of the hardest years of my life on a personal level, but I used that time to fight back and explore new game ideas that fit my artistic style. 🟡 From cozy painting sims to weird, brain-rot freak-show concepts, most of them ended up in the drawer, as they didn’t quite feel like my signature. What’s new?🟡 I can now confirm that I’m actively working on a new project, and there’s already solid progress. Don’t expect a huge, years-long game—think smaller scope, similar to WHYDF.• This one leans into a depressing, somber tone, which I believe will be its main strength. So far, I’ve:Designed and animated the charactersWritten the storyImplemented core mechanicsWhat’s next?🟡 I’m not ready to share the project’s name yet, but I’ll soon start showing behind-the-scenes sneak peeks. The big reveal isn’t f…
- More news! - 30 January 2025
Are you curious about all those screenshots? Keep reading the post! New Game Ideas 🎮 First off, I’ve been playing around with some new game ideas, and honestly, they’re amazing. They fit perfectly into my universe, and I can’t wait to explore them further and share them with you. For now, let's just say that I already have a steam page for one of them ! You'll be the first to know when it goes public! ːsteamhappyː 10 Years of Indie Game Development! 🎉 That’s right—I’ve been making games for 10 years now! Crazy, right? To celebrate, I’ve decided to take a big leap and invest in something I’ve wanted for a long time — a motion capture kit ! This is probably one of the biggest (and most expensive) decisions I’ve made in years, apart from starting my indie projects with little to no budget. But I think it’s worth it. I want to bring my characters to life in a whole new way, and this is go…
- BIG NEWS! - 13 December 2024
Hello, everyone! 🎮 To keep this short — yes, I’ve been brainstorming lots of ideas for future projects. Over the past month, I even created three logos for potential titles! But I must confess, the temptation to work on a second installment of "What Have You Done, Father?" is too much to resist! This time, I plan to scale things up. Not necessarily by adding complex mechanics that might overwhelm me, but by focusing on quality. Many of you are familiar with my previous games, and while you’ve told me they look good, I know the characters are where they fall short — especially in terms of animation. I want to fix this and take my games to the next level. While I can create beautiful character designs, I also want to breathe life into them with high-quality animations. This would allow me to create cooler cinematics and more dynamic character interactions — like picking up objects, seein…
- Now what? - 14 October 2024
Hi, everyone! First of all, thank you for supporting me, whether by playing the game or joining my small community! As some of you may know, I wasn't particularly excited about how the game performed in the first few months. Fortunately, some time ago, I partnered with a company that is now working on porting the game to consoles! This has given me a much-needed boost of confidence, helping me stay true to my vision and dedication. I've even started gathering ideas for a future project similar to this one. There's one confession I've been pondering, though: should I continue creating these types of games? They aren’t always the most popular. It’s not that the subject matter is lacking, but rather that the gameplay tends to be more linear and narrative-driven (think walking simulators). Is there a future for this type of game? Should I make another one, knowing how hard it is to reach a…
- Have you played the game? - 29 April 2024
🎮 Hi, everyone! 🎮 A few days have passed since the release of WHYDF! How are you all? Have you played the game? Did you enjoy it? 😊 If you did, please leave a review if you haven't already! Reviews are really important when it comes to Steam promoting and offering me visibility on Steam. Until now, my games have been buried by the Steam algorithm. Let's not allow this to happen with this game too! It would be incredibly sad. 😔 I confess it's been a bit quiet around here, and although all the Steam reviews are positive (for which I am incredibly grateful and happy), I must say that I am a bit worried. Unfortunately, the game did not meet my expectations, although the numbers predicted how it would do. But it is not the end. There are still chances for the game to have a tail, and hopefully, this will encourage me to make more games like this. With WHYDF, I feel like I have reached my…
- RELEASE DATE! - 5 April 2024
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎉 With a release date set for April 25, I am already preparing a delicious cake! 🍰 Finally, the day has come! With the WHYDF final build in Valve's review phase, I can safely say that the game is finally releasing! How long was it? Around 6-7 months? Hehe, it was incredibly fun to work on this game. For me, it is a huge achievement since it is my first game I have fully programmed from scratch. I'm really curious how it will do upon its release. However, if you have read some of my previous updates, you may have some "outdated" ideas about the game's contents, and I feel like I have to be transparent. In a previous update, I mentioned that there would be a final location - the church. However, after some planning and game design changes, I have decided to replace that location with something different to create a more interesting and exciting ending. Don't panic, alt…
- Exciting NEWS! - 26 February 2024
First of all, thank you to everyone who has added my game to their wishlist and is following its progress since the Steam Next Fest! Baby steps are important steps when it comes to indie game development. Welcome, everyone! I'd like to take a moment to share with you all that "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, FATHER?" (WHYDF) is, first and foremost, a humble attempt of mine to create a game from scratch. I myself am an artist with a traditional background in painting and drawing, but I have always been passionate about crafting interesting virtual scenarios for others to explore. Naturally, 3D was the best solution to bring all those envisioned places to life. However, one of my biggest challenges was figuring out how people would interact with these worlds and experience them. Creating a narrative walking-sim type of game seemed to be the easiest solution, but for an artist with zero programming kn…

- Venture beyond the mansion walls! - 4 January 2024
NEW LOCATIONS! LET'S DIVE IN! 🎮 While not featuring vast open-world expanses (remember, it's an indie game), I love creating diverse locations as they offer an escape from the starting place, keeping the experience fresh and interesting. Returning to the rectory reveals new things, unlocked rooms, and changes—an awesome trick to keep players hooked and eager to continue playing. - Hellish path 🔥 The demo starts with you, trapped in a hellish location while listening to a demonic voice reciting a disturbing, ominous poem. - The Rectory 🏰 The main location of the game, the rectory is where you'll return multiple times, meeting all the characters and their stories. Each return "opens its doors," and it's recommended to check each time the surroundings — there might be something new! - The Old Bridge 🕵️♂️ The Old Bridge marks the beginning of chaos and madness, a location on your way t…

- Ready to meet Fr. Mathias Marton? - 11 December 2023
Exciting news! Hey there! 🌟 This week, get ready to dive into the demo of "What Have You Done, Father?" 🎮 Yup, you heard it right! I've got a demo all set up, and you'll be immersing yourself in the first chapters of Father Mathias Marton's thrilling adventure! I'm absolutely hyped about what I've pulled off on nearly zero budget and in a timeframe of 6 months for the game, plus the mandatory last three months for those finishing touches. I poured my heart and soul into this one (just like all my other games), and I'm crossing my fingers you'll catch those vibes when you're playing. I am working on other game projects on the side, but hey, progress is steady, and I'm proud of what I've have achieved. Funny thing – recently I added a whole new scene for a grim start for the game and an epic intro cinematic, pushing my solo dev skills to the limit. Check out the screens below! Those sma…
