I barely managed to put a game together, honestly coding online multiplayer was way beyond my skill level at the time. But I managed to do it today! It was great to see the indie game scene in Scotland, play games, listen to the live band playing video game music (check out the GGs, they were so good). • 02/06/2025 Steam Leaderboards (+ some old news - Sorting Table, Challenge mode) - 2 June 2025

  Hey everyone, I decided to focus on some single-player content in the recent updates! (For when your friends aren't around) Global Leaderboards + Friend leaderboards When you finish a run in time trials, you can now compare your time to your friends' and the world's! (So basically, tell your friends about this game and see if you can beat their time! Or try and break the world record?) The screenshot above looks a bit weird because I am the only one who has submitted a time, so please help and play some time trials! Old news There were some updates which I have pushed but didn't really introduce previously. Challenge mode This was a mode to see if you can beat the demo, but now I've also put it in the full game.   Hey, hey! I've just realised I never wrote an update about the game releasing... :P Well, the game has released, so you can play the full game now! On top of that we have: Cover art We have new cover art by Felipe! If you love his art like me, go check him out here! Time Trial mode You can race yourself to beat the computer in 1v1 and 4 players! Compare your times with yourself, your friends, and me! (I'll probably put my times as Steam achievements or something.) • 30/09/2024 This week's updates! - 7 October 2024

  Hey, hey! This week I did some game updates but mainly focused on spicing up the store page, getting ready for Steam Next Fest! Store Updates Art I thought the cover didn't reflect the fun and silliness of Pool 2, so I added some characters to it! (Hopefully this will encourage more people to check the game out!) Here are my initial sketches. I'm a beginner illustrator, but I'm happy with what I drew... Trailer I also made a new trailer showing off the game and the new tables! Check it out! Game Updates - You can now press Square (Playstation) or X (Xbox / Gamepad) to softly nudge the ball to set up a shot! (Some people before found it hard to hit the ball softly.) - The river table flows now slows down much faster. (It slows down roughly 25x quicker than before!) That's it for this week! See you later! • New tables and improvements on existing tables! - 26 September 2024

  Hey everyone, I've got some new tables and some updated tables! Updated tables! Football table - Added a slope at the end and of the corner of the pitch. (This is so that your balls don't stick to the edge and it's not fun.) - Made the football crowd cheer when a goal is scored! - Fixed the collision between the balls and the goal keeper (so the balls actually bounce off instead of sliding off.) Radar table - Added some background stuff to make the table look nicer. - Fixed a bug where the balls would slow down on the outer ring of the table - Added some colour to the radar itself so you can see the black ball properly I also added the slope to the donut table too, but it visually looks the same. • New tables for Pool 2! - 29 August 2024

  Donut A simple circular stage with one big hole in the middle! Football (or soccer...) Sink the ball by scoring a goal on either side. Radar The hole itself moves! So put your balls in the outer ring and watch the hole move to the balls. (At the moment, the black ball is a bit hidden. I can't decide if that's a bug or a feature right now... Do let me know!) • Big Update: Beta Build is live! - 24 May 2024

  Hey, hey. First post! I'm Felix and I'm the developer of Pool 2! For those who don't know, Pool 2 is a game where it's like normal Pool but each player has a cue ball and you can shoot whenever you want, so no more waiting for your turn!
