• Gently Packed Has Found a Publisher! - 3 September 2026

  Hey everyone! We have some huge news to share today: our cozy cashier simulator, Gently Packed, has officially joined forces with Pixel Doors as our publisher! We’re beyond thrilled to team up with them. Together, we’re going to work on making store management and bag packing in Gently Packed even more satisfying, relaxing, and fun for all of you. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL THE NEWS! First off, if you happen to be in Shanghai between October 2nd and October 6th, you’ll be able to play a hands-on floor build of Gently Packed at RedNote 2.0! It was reallocated, following a budget review that identified automatic restocking as a cost the corporation would prefer you absorb.The Warehouse Is Yours Now The warehouse is fully operational and entirely your concern. Between shifts, visit the wholesaler, restock by category and prepare your shelves for the day ahead. Plan poorly and you will run dry mid-shift, at which point our Emergency Package arrives at once and attaches its cost to your loan. We call this a safety net. Accounting calls it something else.Products Can Be Damaged Fragile items can now be crushed when heavier products are placed on top of them. • Controller Authorized - Update - 8 May 2026

  The Store, Inc. is pleased to announce that following 17 quarters of internal review, personnel are now authorized to operate franchise locations using a standard input controller. The decision was reached after the Ergonomics Subcommittee reviewed a series of incidents involving keyboards, wrists, and what one report described as "a sound the human hand should not produce." The corporation regrets nothing and admits to less.All cashier duties can now be done using the controller. Scanning, packing, item rotation, cash and card handling, bag selection, and the small dignity of leaning back in your chair while doing it. Xbox, PlayStation, and generic XInput devices are supported. Mouse and keyboard remains available for personnel who derive meaning from struggle.Productivity quotas have not been adjusted to reflect the new input method.   The corporate headquarters are finally open - and they've got some offers you can't refuse.This update covers a lot of ground: the workday is longer, your progress now saves, packing has new rules, and you can finally visit the Corp building and buy upgrades.Longer Workday The most common feedback we got was that the demo felt too short. We heard you. The workday is now longer, so you'll get to serve more customers before the shift ends.Your Progress is Now Saved The demo finally has a full save system. Everything carries over between sessions so you can jump back any time.Corporate Upgrades Visit the Corp building on the map to spend your hard-earned tips on upgrades:Tip Jar - customers notice it.
