Short description
Pale Flamingos is a visual novel murder mystery with choices and a branching narrative. The year is 1986; the place, Miami. Florita and Melba, two Cuban grandmothers, are at the Miami Travel Agents' Convention where the owner of St. Neville Airways is found dead. Florita and Melba investigate.

INVESTIGATE THE MURDER Begin by discovering the body of Gil, the owner of St. Neville Airways, in the hangar of Miami International Airport. In this visual novel, your choices will guide Florita and Melba through the story. As the Miami Police Department dismisses the murder as a fluke accident, only the amateurs using their wits can solve it. EXPLORE 1980s MIAMI The 1980s capital of synth wave music and Miami Vice—not to mention the Golden Girls—was a simpler place. Driving with Florita and Melba, you will experience the forgotten landmarks, roads, and lifestyle of old Miami. QUESTION THE SUSPECTS Use Florita's knowledge as a travel agent to ask the best questions. Suspects and witnesses will lie, deflect, or just be unreliable. Your game choices will wring the truth from them—or not. SOLVE THE CASE The murderer knows that the heat is on. Only you can expose the criminal before another murder happens. Guess right, and you can save the day. Guess wrong, and you can probably let the Miami PD take the fall.
