  It’s the first Gorlak patch I’ve made in a while but given the amount of new Gorlak gamers I thought it would be a good idea to take stock of some issues and make some changes I’ve been wanting to make for a while. NEW: New damage numbers AND icons that display if you hit an elemental weakness or resistance!Optimized the HUD display to run better on lower end machines.REMOVED the flashing at the start of battleFixed spear bristle escape dialogue not displaying correctlyFixed the Wind Spirit fight softlocking the game if you kill it too fast.

  In an update that I may have taken too long to get to I have put some work into optimizing the game to be better played on weaker systems! I doubt it's perfect but it should run much better now. There are also a few missed text and grammar issues that are fixed.

  For a while now I've been thinking of giving this game at LEAST one content update. The first time it goes on sale for the steam summer sale feels like a pretty good time for that! For this update there are a few new additions! MORE EQUIPMENT! I've had some ideas kicking around for a bit for new weapon types that can cover a few untouched niches as well as filling out the list of accessories a bit more. a few of the more interesting new options are... Scythes: Stylish and edgy, they do not increase your attack very much but instead increase your critical hit damage! Rapiers: Two hit dress swords that give you a boost of both Dexterity and Agility! Sparrow Brooch: Gain a resistance to wind damage as well as in inherent chance to dodge attacks! however you will also gain a small weakness to physical damage.   There have been a few minor things I've decided to take my time on a bit while squaring some other things away. I’m still trying to find time to work on the Linux build proper but the steamworks integration seems to break, however this will not stop me from releasing Linux builds on itch.io. The steam version of the soundtrack will still be a bit longer but I am continuing to work on that. Sneak Syrup now has the correct description using the back button when speaking to the necromancer no longer selects a dialogue option instead of going back as intended the banshee’s sorrow screech focus check now lowers her magic as it says in the description. fixed colour formatting in Wind’s Edge description and made the description clearer in what it does. fixing various typos

  during a recent watch of the game it was discovered that the weapon that specifically makes your crits better was making them worse so i fixed that! It also turns out that the equip that increased your crit damage also didn't work so i redesigned it to give you a new ability! fixed typos fixed doubled up text boxes in a few places added flavour text to Battle Beret Increased gold dropped by enemies in the City gave enemies in the city better item drops Added text in the battle tutorial explaining that you can run from battles (as well as an extra reminder during an especially hard optional fight) Murderer axe now replaces your basic attack with Murder which has increased critical hit chance (it was just not increasing the hit chance before, sorry) Killer Eye now grants the sleight Killer Jab instead of increasing your critical hit damage (this was also just straight up not working but i…
