About this game
Spent Shells is a high score top-down shooter with roguelike-y randomized elements. Players dive in to an everchanging dungeon to harvest a crystalized power source that will get them home. Fight through the dungeon using a variety of weapons, characters, upgrades, and your own skill! Each run earns the player leaderboard points that can be spent to upgrade the overworld, unlocking new tools and characters for the player to interact with. Gameplay Starting with GunDude, and later with the other characters you discover, you'll fight through rooms that become more difficult and have more enemies as you make your way through the everchanging dungeon. You'll pick between characters, weapons, and upgrades as your loadout before entering the dungeon with each new run. As you get through new rooms and beat new bosses, you'll get to pick new upgrades, to create different combinations for each run.
