• Case Files: Internal Affairs (Demo Available Now!) - 13 October 2025

  The demo for the 3rd installment in the Case Files series is now live as part of the Steam Next Fest. This demo allows players the opportunity to play through the first round of the game.   Development of Case Files: Internal Affairs, the 3rd installment in the Case Files series, continues to go as planned. We are aiming for a Q4 release. Currently, we are in the post-production phase of cleaning up all video files. The footage is turning out great, with all actors delivering stellar performances. We are very excited to get this installment into the hands of the players. Be sure to wishlist this new case HERE!

  Case Files: Internal Affairs, the 3rd installment in the Case Files series, will be releasing in 2025. This new case will be the most ambitious one to date! • Steam Deck Compatibility (Not Fully Compatible) - 21 October 2024

  After finally having the ability to test on Steam Deck, we have verified that the game is NOT fully compatible with the Steam Deck. The videos will play as intended, but you cannot skip videos or fast forward/rewind. Attempting to skip videos will result in a need to restart the game. As such, we are recommending that this game be played on a PC with Windows 10 or 11 and NOT on the Steam Deck. If any changes to compatibility arise, we will be sure to post another update.

  Fixed a bug in the in-game intercom, in which subtitles were displaying upon loading the game, whether subtitles were enabled or not. Minor quality of life improvements.

• Update Notes - May 6th, 2024 - 6 May 2024

  This is a first attempt at fixing a resolution scaling problem on ultra wide monitors. Some users have reported losing on-screen UI elements when changing the resolution. This patch attempts to fix this issue. Unfortunately, we do not have an ultra wide monitor to test this on, so we are relying on community members to report all bugs and/or solutions. If you have an ultra wide monitor, and find that this patch has resolved the issue, or if the issue remains, please let us know. You can report all bugs and pertinent information HERE.

• Case Files: Behind Closed Doors (Developer Gameplay) - 6 February 2024

  Join the developer as they introduce this new FMV murder mystery, police interrogation, detective experience. Players will be tasked with discerning truth from lies, spotting contradictions, and ultimately seeking justice by successfully charging the correct suspect. The developer will highlight the general story/murder mystery, introduce each of the four suspects, reveal key mechanics, and be available to answer any questions from the viewers. If you're a fan of mystery and/or detective games, you don't want to miss this exciting first first look!

• Steam Next Fest and Demo! - 24 January 2024

  We're excited to announce that “Case Files: Behind Closed Doors", will be premiering at the Steam Next Fest in February! The event takes place from Feb 5th-12th. A demo will be available to play during the event. There will also be a livestream with the developer, who will go over the new case, new mechanics, and more. Mark your calendars, detectives!
