Short description
Bat Blast! is a 2D game about magical bats. Take control of one of many magical fruit bats and blast your way upwards through the minions of 'The Master' as you strive to escape his spooky tower.
About this game
Spooky shenanigans abound in Gangarth Tower; a mystical fortress created by a powerful wizard known only as 'The Master'. His latest experiment has gone rogue. Keen to escape, a magic-infused bat wreaks havoc on the tower, smashing skeletons, casting spells, voiding warranties, exploding ghouls, dodging spiders, pinching gold, and consuming tons of the Master's fruit (so much fruit!) The Master's servant, Fink - a magical skull - is starting to believe they may have overdone it this time. Take flight and prove him right! Bat Blast to freedom! Point and click to navigate (or use a gamepad if you're into that). Perform a Bat Blast to conduct a high-speed attack that destroys enemies and breaks objects. Or, use a 'Swoop' - a low-velocity move that you can use to position yourself for a more effective Bat Blast. Journey to the top! Fly upwards to reach the exit. There are eight floors to fight through. Each floor is filled with different spooky surprises and dangers. Most floors end with a bonus round - but some floors end with boss fights! Collect Energy and POWER UP! Embrace the power of FRUIT to keep you energized on your journey. Energy is a vital resource and keeps you Bat Blasting. JUICE UP with special fruits, such as the Batfruit, Pointpear, Protectogranite, Firemelon and more! Each special fruit will grant you a temporary special ability. Break stuff and vanquish foes! Bat Blast into objects to break them. Breaking objects awards points. Blast into a range of ghosts, skeletons, demons, ghouls and spiders that inhabit the tower. Mix things up! Collect gold coins and then spend them on different bats and spells. All bats come with their own unique 'Battributes'. These include unique passive abilities, energy levels and bounces. Mix and match bats with a choice of spells and talents to create fun and interesting play-styles. The Master's Tower is full of surprises, secrets, and spooky variety.
