This is our free update for December 2015. We’ve now been available for 20 months on Steam. Thanks for your loyal support and we hope you continue to enjoy the game New Features: - New game modes: Online Match Play and Online Four Ball - Rustic theme, an expansion/update on the Rural theme. - Winter Theme has been permanently added to the GNCD - Winter theme uses a yellow golf ball and has better green grid visibility - Added the ability to change texture colours. - Can change colour textures of Fairways, Rough, Greens and Bunkers - Added slider for Mowing Patterns to change the thickness of the fairway mowing lines - Added slider for the Mowing Intensity so you can either hide or really bring out those lines in terms of visibility. - Lots of new apparel. While we put the build into the console submission process we will give the PC guys an early look at the May Update. Below is a list of what we’ve worked on New/Improved features • Season Mode • Tropical Theme • Steam Shop now attached to Season Mode and Tropical Themes • Cart Paths added • Out of Bounds now in the game • Drop Balls • Unplayable Lies • Weather Effects via course creator • Ability to view other users profiles • Better Camera controls on Mouse and Keyboard in course creator • Added a drive difficulty setting based off of drive loft • Loads more commentary – we want to keep it varied o Season Mode o Tours and Tournaments o More Variety Bug Fixes • Crash on tour search screen • Balls getting stuck in objects like bridges, balcony’s, dumpsters • Overlapping text on Theme Select • Improved end of tour flow • X button favoring a un favoring courses • Flickering on settings scr…

The disc version of TGC will be released in the morning and unlike console we don't have to wait for the cert process (we don't really have a choice either) So the new update will make the digital version match that as what is on the disk through the in-game store. This gives you * Season Mode * Tropical Theme * Small optimisations There will be another huge update later in the week that will give you everything planned for the May update. Keep an eye out for this

"We are delighted to announce that Feature Update 2 will be available later today, probably at around 9pm GMT, 4pm PT. It is the second update for The Golf Club and we hope all the members out there enjoy what it brings to the game. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far and this update only serves to enhance that feeling within the studio. We have confidence that the Handicap System will add a positive new dimension to the game and for those that aren’t too keen on Handicaps there is always the option to play rounds and tournaments and follow leaderboards that don’t involve the handicap system. We are also really pleased with the Countryside Theme and can’t wait to see what you can create with it. And this is all for free! M…
