• V1.2.1 Mod tool fix - 9 September 2025

  I was let know that the mod and card making tools were not properly working after the latest update and this update fixes it.Now the custom card and deck making for mods is working like in previous updates.You can check the guide for any questions:

• Giving the game some love - 23 April 2025

  It is still not close to how I would like my games to look but I have tried improving the assets and the UI as much as my skills and time permit me so that you feel a bit less like wanting to pull out your eyes. Here is the update list: Improved assets for all the stages, most enemies and character sprite. Improved UI visuals. Cards stats now visually change with status on the player and the enemies that would alter the cards stats. Reduced memory leak issues. Bug fixes. Card Gallery implemented. New card collection achievement.

• V 1.1.0.3 more bug fixes - 22 February 2024

  Fixed bug where by pressing the same upgrade a lot of times quickly it would continue fusing the card making overpowered cards. Fixed small bug that was producing errors related to quickly selecting a card with controller or keyboard controls right after killing the last enemy. Fixed bug where two of the bone cards would not have the correct ability and one not showing the card image. Fixed visual bug where armor above 10 was appearing a bit offcentered & enemy intent + status effects were appearing above the number instead of behind it for values above 10. Fixed upgrade confirm button in the upgrade tree not getting pressed in some situations.

  Added a simple battlelog to keep track of what cards were played during the battle by you and the enemy. Fixed buffs to Bone cards from develop chaos being applied to all bone cards permanently. Adjusted portal effects colors to be more like it was before v1.1.

  Fixed UI bug with bigger numbers appearing too close to each other. Fixed “Just a bit harder” achievement unlocking after any hard mode run, now only unlocks if you win. Fixed appearing on negative health if you won and got burned in the last attack of the turn. (Now if you win, end of turn effects like burn and others will not trigger, making it more fair when fighting enemies that burn) Fixed Grave Barricade ability bug where it was replacing the deck with the discard instead of shuffling it back. Now it properly adds them to the deck. Fixed two card names that were not getting properly translated.

  Free demo now available. New Hard mode (enemies have more hp and start with abilities, but you get more XP). In hard mode there are rare encounters with dark enemies that can have the hard mode buffs applied multiple times. (happens to 1/30 enemies) A new Deck unlocked after winning a game in hard mode. 3 new abilities focused around the new deck. Visible grave and deck sizes to assist with the new mechanics. Added guide link in the mod menu, so anyone can find instructions from inside the game. 10+ new cards to play with. New hard mode achievement. New soundtracks for the fights.

  Map list now arranged to start with short. Names of enemies now appear when entering a battle. New U.F.O. Enemy found in the third zone. New Curse ability for cards. New Compatible ability for cards. Cursed mantle card from cultist starter deck now has curse 2 instead of broken 1 since it's more thematic. New Curse achievement. 3 New cards with the Curse mechanic. (unlocked when new achievements is obtained) 2 New cards with the compatible mechanic. New second zone boss, only encountered after beating the game once. The Eye of providence cards now only show up after beating the new boss. Added a custom deck modding tool.

  Added an info box that pops up when hovering over enemy intent, to make it easier to know what enemies will do when you don’t yet know the ability symbols. • V1.0.1 Mod tool - 24 December 2023

  Added a modding tool to make custom cards and enabled the workshop. Changed energy hungry achievement to only require 2 starting energy instead of 4.

• Card Fuse - Released - 18 December 2023

  Today I finally released Card Fuse and I am really looking forward to hearing the feedback of everyone that plays it. I’ll be checking the community posts for any posts or bugs. Future Plans: I may add a few extra cards or enemies but after lunch I will mainly focus on fixing any bugs that may be left. I also want to finish implementing a tool for making your own cards to add to the steam workshop, so you and others can play with custom cards. Thank you to anyone who bought the game and enjoy fusing powerful cards!
