• Update to 0.4.2: Performance and QoL Improvements! - 4 March 2026

  Well, That has been eventful! Three days in and we already have our first major bug discovered by external users. What great news! Thank you all for playing the game so far. We are happy to announce an update that should fix the majority of the issues with frame stuttering and lockups. Turns out you can have too many UI elements that are checking if the mouse is overlapping with it multiple times a frame. Here's hoping that we've finally squashed this one. Below is a list of all the changes coming as part of the 0.4.2 update. ⚙️ Engine Upgrades & Performance Unity 6.3 LTS & URP Upgrade: Upgraded the engine and rebuilt the render pipeline, adding new scalable visual quality settings (Very Low to Ultra). • Releasing to Early Access! - 27 February 2026

  Alright, After a lot of pushing, pulling, and overall life struggles, the time has finally come. We are going to pull the trigger and release Card TD in its current state. The official release date is set in stone for March 1st, 2026. It will be coming to early access, so just take that into note when you decide to purchase. The Demo will remain as a fully playable game, but we do not currently plan on updating it to fit with the state of the released game. That may change in the near future. We have put a lot of thought and hope into the future of this game, but we have finally reached the point where, without the feedback from the community, we cannot hope to make the best experience for the kind of game that we have envisioned. • Demo from the Kickstarter is available - 19 January 2025

  Hello everyone! We have released the original Kickstarter demo on Steam. Please note that it's very much a minimum viable product, but does show the general flow of the game we are creating. We have been hard at work trying to prepare the Steam side of Card TD for it's eventual release into Early Access. In short news, we have chosen to release the game in Early Access, as life has gotten away from us and progress has been slower than we originally anticipated. We are actively continuing development, but it is slow, and since this game represents a unique genre mix of tower defense and deck building, we want to be able to provide the community with the opportunity to voice their inputs.
