• [SCP 1.0 FULL GAME RELEASE] - 7 July 2026

  The 1.0 patch is finally ready!The 1.0 release is also launching alongside with a Demo for the game, in which a smaller area of the island is available to explore. Make sure to check it out!The full release introduces the SCP-096 into the game as well as a Horde system.There are new quests related to SCP-096 and other various fixes to the campaign and quality-of-life improvements such as preventing story audio from sometimes playing twice and monster stats overhauls. At night, you and your base will now get assaulted by various monsters that increase in intensity as days go by. We intend to keep supporting the game for the near future, if there are any bugs or glitches reported, so stay tuned for more. Thank you for sticking around through the early access and leaving reviews and feedback for improving the game, it means a lot.Try to survive and stay sane on the island!

• [Update 0.2 Patch Notes] SCP Missions - Quests - 7 August 2025

  This patch introduces a new major system into the game. The missions will be split into 4 categories:Easy, Medium, Hard, and Chaos - these missions are difficult and unique. The missions can all be accessed through a new buildable object - SCP Mission Transmitter. You will have an overview of all your currently available quests in there. Each quest has it's own unique rewards and some otherwise unobtainable items. Keep an eye out for new ones upon completing a mission and new patch releases. Sprinklers are also now in the game. There will also be an ability to request item deliveries from the foundation in a future patch in exchange for tokens earned by performing missions. Thank you all for playing the game. I will be adding more missions going forward. There's still a lot in the works for early access, so I hope you have fun solving mysteries added in this update.

• [Update 0.1.3 patch notes] - Iron ore and smelting ingots buffs. - 4 August 2025

  This patch aims to address the lack of iron ore and the resulting difficulty of crafting ingots. -Increased the amount of iron ore spawned in caves.-Smelting costs for all ingots reduced, and the output per craft is doubled. -All bow and arrow damage increased. -Barbed wire traps damage and durability increased. -Slightly increased zombie hp to compensate for the ammo buffs. -Enemies will now try to break the traps after getting hit. -Fixed SCP-3139 getting stuck destroying buildings -Decreased enemy damage to structures.

• [Update 0.1.2 patch notes] - Minefields, traps, base defense and new items - 4 August 2025

  This patch is introducing new base defense buildings and items. First, there are now buildable barbwire traps. The next big addition is Landmines. They can be found both out in the world or be crafted. New item related to landmines. When you equip it, it will help you locate nearby mines preventing unfortunate accidents. There is a new base defense tab now in the building options, where you can find these new base defense traps. -Replaced most of the icons for growable fruits and vegetables. -Forges will now spawn starting with 1 coal for easier crafting. That's the patch! I hope you enjoy it and can find some creative ways to use the mines in your base building and in combat.

• [Update 0.1.1 patch notes] Increased Ammo, Durability, and Resources. - 3 August 2025

  Patch 0.1.1 -Ammo recipes no longer require iron ingots. -Bows fixed to work correctly with all types of arrows. -Increased the plank output amount from crafting. -Buffed all axe, pickaxe, and ranged weapon durability. -Replaced all the .50mm ammo in crates with gunpowder. -Gunpowder crafting sulfur cost is halved. -Decreased the seed drops from bird's nests. -Gear crafted from Bigfoot and Sleep Killer drops adjusted. -Increased the odds of catching a fish. -Some map fixes to prevent soft-locks on the mountain.

  Bug fixes: - Fixed an issue where the axe would occasionally stop working when cutting trees. - Fixed the unresponsive UI during auto-saves. Changes: - Added a crosshair. - Adjusted the first-person camera to prevent shoulder interference with the view. I am still working on other issues, including the "fatal error" bug that causes the game to crash.

  The playtest is scheduled to run until next Monday, 09/30/24, at 12:00 AM PST. Access has been randomly distributed among those who’ve requested it so far. Feedback and participation are greatly appreciated and help shape the experience.
