  Hey y’all,We were going to make this newsletter earlier, but we didn’t! We’re really excited to tell you about some of the updates we’re making to Miss Paint.MISS PAINTThis game started all the way back in December 2023 at the BIGMODE Game Jam. If you’ve done a game jam before, you should know that when you only have a few days to write code, you sometimes are left with a steaming hot pile of spaghetti. When we decided to finish the game originally, we unwisely chose to build a house on top of that pile of spaghetti. Lesson to any aspiring game devs who want to continue a game past a jam: just make a new project. Don’t wait 7 months like we did.So yeah, we had to reprogram the entire game from scratch since the demo released.   Patch notes! - Deleting your save file now doesn't delete your settings preferences or close your game - The settings and inbox desktop icons got changed - Making an edit in a level is less laggy - F11 key is now a dedicated fullscreen/window mode button - Fixed a bug where pressing R to reset a level while light green is growing, it would leave some light green behind - Fixed bug where Miss Paint would stay red if you exited a level while she was red - Made the level dropdown options say R to reset instead of Hold R - Fixed bug with emails not loading correctly - Fixed bug where upon resetting while making a selection, the selection would still be visible once reset
