• Introducing Coreward, my new game - 5 September 2025

  Hi there!I'm working hard on a new game, to be released this year. The name is Coreward, and it's an incremental game similar to Nodebuster. Waves of enemies float towards you, and you must rotate your shields to intercept and destroy them. Then you can use their remains to buy upgrades so you can last a longer time.I've been testing it hard and have received generally good reviews, save for some balancing issues. I'll be dropping a Steam demo at some point during the next two weeks. Wishlist now to get notified so you can give it a try!

• Co-op mode now live! - 21 December 2024

  Version 2.4 is now live, including rich presence (so your Steam friends can see your Hexis score live), some bug fixes, and, most importantly... a new co-op mode! In this mode pieces will appear on opposite sides of the board (as in Double Danger mode), each controlled by one of two players. Your goal is, as always, to stack the hexagons into non-radial lines (that is, lines going away from the center do not count). Go ahead and start yelling at someone for not putting that hexagon where you wanted them to. I've already lost two friendships to it!

• v2.2: joystick movement improved - 27 August 2024

  * Moving pieces with the joystick could be very difficult on some controllers. The new input handling algorithm should make it a lot more comfortable. * Music and sound effects are completely silenced if the volume is set to 0 * Some animations and effects have been polished * Several bugs fixed Next update: co-op mode :-)

• New feature: bonus lines. - 30 June 2024

  Hey, thanks for buying Hexis! I hope you've had a chance to play and had some fun. Today I'm releasing the first patch. I've solved a few bugs, made some improvements (the Steam and controller integration should be a bit better now) and added a new mechanic to spice things up: bonus lines! Try to build lines following the color combinations you will see at the left of the screen to gain some extra points. I think it makes the game a bit more interesting, but let me know what you think.
