- Patch Notes: Update 0.11.9 - 13 April 2026
Hello everyone, today is another update for the demo version. We’re looking forward to your feedback!UpdatesAnother performance bottleneck turned out to be the number of draw calls. HLODs have been added to the map, which at a certain distance merge parts of the map into a single model with one material, reducing the number of calls. We’re still experimenting with the settings and continuing to monitor performance. (Purple in the screenshot indicates the near zone where there is no HLOD and original models are used)Shadows have been disabled for various small objects, and culling has been added to many other objects to reduce draw call frequency.Optimization of ticks and animations for monsters and NPCs located far from the player has been carried out.A headlamp (equipment type "Helmet") has been added, which shines farther and brighter.New medical items have been added (improved medkit…
- Patch Notes: Update 0.11.5 - 24 March 2026
Hey everyone, we continue to improve the game based on your feedback. Thank you for filling out the survey and writing in Discord. In this update:UpdatesA significant amount of optimization work has been done — the main bottleneck for now is the CPU. Monster logic has been optimized, item culling has been added across the entire map, weather and particles have been optimized, wire physics have been removed, and various other minor improvements. Many players noted that stealth gameplay was difficult, so monster visibility range has been reduced by 50% when the player is crouching.Headshots have been added with x2 damage (except for spiders, larvae, and stalkers, as they either have a large head or it's always facing forward, which would make every hit a headshot).Since many players complained about the low amount of loot (and we noticed it ourselves), several interactive containers have b…

We continue to improve the game and carefully follow your survey responses and feedback. Thank you for helping us make the game better! In some places, the number of loot boxes has been increased. We also added a few hidden stashes.Increased ammo spawn; starting quests now give more ammo.Reduced weapon breakage chance, and weapon durability now decreases more slowly.Fixed pistol animations - hands no longer flicker in front of the camera while sprinting. There were many complaints about the low amount of loot and ammo. For now, we've added a trader in the first version. We will be balancing the economy, so we're waiting for your feedback! You can purchase items on the PC in the bunker; it unlocks after completing the 4th quest in the por…

- Out of Ammo? Meet the Sidearms That Could Save Your Life in Dreadweave - 20 January 2025
Hello everyone! We got deeply immersed in game development and missed a few update releases. Today, we’re going to share some information about the weapons that will help you in the early stages of surviving the dark and dangerous world of Dreadweave. Specifically, we'll talk about sidearms—the pistols—that will save you when you run out of ammo for your primary weapon. Makarov Pistol A simple 9mm pistol with an 8-round magazine and basic damage. It’s available right from the start and will be your irreplaceable companion. It can use standard 9×18mm PM rounds, as well as armor-piercing and upgraded ammo. Stechkin Automatic Pistol A step up from the Makarov. While it uses the same 9×18mm PM rounds, it boasts an impressive magazine size and an automatic firing mode. This weapon will serve you well in many encounters with monsters and will save your life more than once. TT Pistol Although…
- Will You Find Safety in the Bunker? - 5 October 2024
Hello everyone, Today we’ll be talking about the player’s primary safe haven and secure place — your base or bunker. The only safe place and refuge for the player is underground. While the monsters can still sense your heartbeat, the environment is much calmer and safer, which ensures the character’s safety. In the bunker, you’ll take quests, craft, manage your loot, read logs, study information, and much more. Why a bunker? After arriving in the bleak northern city, our character quickly realizes that survival on the surface is impossible. The extremely low temperatures and dangerous monsters leave no safe spot in the city. The only reasonable solution is to find an entrance to the underground communications of the secret city — a system that connects the entire area. Underground, it’s warmer, and you don’t have to fear monster attacks as much. It also reduces stress and physical strai…
- Can You Stay Warm Without Becoming Monster Food? - 12 July 2024
Hello everyone, let's continue sharing more about our game. I would like to discuss the weather and the surrounding world in today's update. As you already know, the setting of Dreadweave is a snowy town in the icy wastelands of the north. The town was built as the northernmost port on the continent, and due to its remoteness, it has become an ideal location for conducting secret experiments. Who among spies would be interested in such a desolate place? What kind of weather can we expect in such picturesque locations and how will we keep warm? In the town, it is so cold that boiling water thrown into the air instantly turns to ice All I can say is that you must survive in the cold. The extreme north is an unforgiving place, so you'll have to equip yourself with warm clothing. In the real world, it's cold, the weather is often unpredictable, and your time is limited by the temperature ga…
- Why you should remember about Singular Relocator before every mission - 1 May 2024
Hello everyone, in our first monthly update about the game, I'd like to tell you about the portals, how they work, and how to use them. As you know, in the grim world of Dreadweave, there are two sides - the snowy, cold city of reality and its dark counterpart in the inverse world. But how do you move between these two worlds to complete quests? That’s where portals come in. What are these portals, where do they come from and why Let's start with how they appeared and reveal a bit of the game's lore. During secret experiments on exploring the mysteries of the universe in the city of Zoryanovsk (Makarov-6), a breakthrough into a parallel dimension was achieved. The research got out of control and allowed another world, and its inhabitants, to break into ours... Man-made portal In each game session on the map, you can find an installation that creates a stable portal that transfers you to…
- Dreadweave - a cooperative extraction horror shooter game - 3 February 2024
Hello everyone, today I am thrilled to announce our new game, Dreadweave - a cooperative extraction horror shooter set in the grim environment of a Soviet northern military town, where secret experiments have gone wrong, leading to the opening of portals into a terrifying parallel dimension. Already intrigued, aren't you? Let us tell you a bit about our new game. Dreadweave is primarily a horror game (which you can play either solo or in cooperative mode), where you'll have to fight monsters from a parallel dimension. The twist? The main monster from the otherworld senses human heartbeats, and if it's close enough on the other side, it detects the player. Then you'd better hide, although the absence of people on the city streets suggests that running is futile... The game is designed for maximum replayability; you won't have a single identical session - different spawn points, different…
