Thievery: Online is an action-packed, multiplayer PvP shooter where you play as both sides of the law. You play either as career thieves, or relentless police officers in an epic battle of wealth, power and control. PLAY AS BOTH SIDES OF THE LAW In a deviation from the average heist game formula, Thievery:Online has you play as both sides of the law. You'll either be a Thief, entering a building and robbing it, or be a Guard, trained to stop the Thieves and foil their plans. As a Thief, you can either barge into the building, guns blazing; or you can sneak in and be stealthy. It's your job to infiltrate a building, bypass all security and make away with the cash. You have helpful utilities to help you against the guards. Remember! The guards can respawn, you cannot. As a guard, your job is to stop the Thieves before they escape with the money. Unlike Thieves, you can respawn. Each time you respawn, you'll have better gear. You'll start off as a Bank Security Guard and work your way up to be a SWAT Officer.
