  New scoring system in developmentAfter watching many, many playtest sessions, it has become clear that only giving players the challenge to manage their intelligence (health) is far too easy. Players can easily optimise a run around buying difficulty 1 swap cards to replace more difficult questions and cheese the game. Sure, they get a lower score, still have to pass rainbow reaper and challenge bosses, but that's not a rewarding experience. Also, I've had a lot of feedback around the score needing to be more meaningful than just a leaderboard.Therefore, the solution will be to move toward a 'hurdle' scoring system where each level will require players to get at least x score to pass. This hurdle will increase as the acts and levels get harder.
