  Ten years ago today, Alto first set off down the mountain and what started as a small passion project quickly grew into something far greater than we ever anticipated. Artwork by the wonderful Alariko Over the years, we’ve been humbled by the stories you’ve shared—how Alto’s Adventure became a source of calm in difficult times, a ritual before bed, or even a shared experience between parents and their children. It’s been incredible to see the impact a game about the joy of movement and the changing landscape can have. From that first run down the mountain to everything that has followed, this journey has been shaped as much by you, our players, as it has by us.   The first patch for The Alto Collection on Steam is now live. Including various bug fixes and improvements, this update will ensure you can seamlessly master all 38 Steam achievements as you soar above the windswept dunes and explore the alpine slopes. This patch includes: 🏆 Various Steam achievements and in-game goal fixes. 🖥️ Improved menu visibility for ultra widescreen players. ☁️ Cross-device Cloud Sync improvements. 🔧 Additional menu navigation bug fixes. • Steam Deck Support? - 8 March 2024

  Since our Steam launch yesterday, we've had a number of questions from players about Steam deck support. While The Alto Collection is not officially Steam Deck verified just yet, we can confirm from our own testing that the title works fantastically on Steam Deck out of the box! If you’re waiting for verification status to jump in, there’s no need, simply install and fire up The Alto Collection on your device to enjoy gliding through the endless desert of Alto’s Odyssey or snow capped peaks of Alto’s Adventure from the comfort of your sofa. For those that prefer to wait for official verification before adding titles to their Steam Deck library, we hope to have good news on this front for you very soon.   🎉 Alto has finally arrived on Steam! 🎉 The Alto Collection neatly combines the original endless snowboarding journey – Alto’s Adventure, as well as the windswept sandboarding expedition – Alto’s Odyssey into one handy package. As we are nearing 10 years since Alto’s Adventure first arrived on iOS, we couldn’t be more excited to bring both titles to Steam, giving long-term fans the ability to experience both games on the big screen – as well as welcoming a new generation of PC players to our lovingly crafted ‘endless boarders’.
