• Achievements update #1! - 22 April 2024

  I've added 10 new achievements to the game for those who like that delightful little noise (and endorphin boost) that comes with unlocking them. None should be too difficult, though a few will take just a bit of skill. Good luck!

• Intro Cut Scene Added - 14 April 2024

  Ever wonder why the intrepid Nine Lives Ninja is even exploring a deadly cave? Well now you can watch and find out! Also added: the ability to skip the intro cut scene (along with all other fade in/out transitions).

• You can now Save & Continue in Adventure 2! - 13 April 2024

  If you are playing Adventure 2 and set a save/respawn point, you have now also saved your progress for future sessions! Saves are also automatically created if you exit from the menu. You also get a free auto-save as you complete Adventure 2 in case you want to go back and find any more of those 99 emeralds you may have missed. Also in this update: refreshed menu system and a few other small improvements.

• Nine Live Ninja: Explore! Price permanently reduced to $0.99 - 2 April 2024

  Based on reviews and feedback it is clear that I overpriced this game based on quality and quantity of the available content. This is my first solo game and I'm learning a lot through the process, and I appreciate anyone who took the time to play and let me know what they thought. With Steam's approval I am permanently reducing the price of Nine Lives Ninja: Explore to $0.99 USD and equivalent regional pricing. I will continue to improve the game and add more content in the coming weeks. That being said, if you purchased at full price I will completely understand if you choose to refund if you are still eligible to do so. I plan to continue my game development journey after this and hope that you'll consider sticking with me to check out future games. I believe they will improve with each iteration and I'll be exploring different genres along the way.

• Adventure 2 added - 4 times larger than Adventure 1! - 1 April 2024

  Come check out the largest (and hardest) level yet - Adventure 2! In addition to requiring more precision jumping and more exploration, there are also 99 emeralds to collect and a leaderboard to track the folks who get the most by the time they reach the fountain.

• New Mode: Score Attack! - 30 March 2024

  Time is not on your side, but what you collect is even more important than how quickly you reach the Fountain. Avoiding death will also help you set a high score!

• New mode: Time Trial! - 28 March 2024

  I've added a new mode for the speed runners and competitive folks out there. You can now play Time Trial, which is Adventure Mode with an ever-present clock silently judging your progress and accomplishments. Upon completion your best time will be added to a leaderboard for everyone else to see and compete against as well. Good luck!
