A Maze-ing runner is a singleplayer topdown speedrunning game. At it's core you traverse a set of mazes as fast as possible. However... How do you reach the next stage (maze)? Follow the three pillars mentioned in the Guidebook of a-maze-ing trails: Explore, Optimize, Run! Where is the exit? Who cares? It is the journey that matters, not the destination. Explore all nooks and crannies of each maze to prepare for the next phase. So you found the exit, great! But did you do that in the best way? Become one with the maze to reach a maze-ing efficiency! Run, orcy, run! Get there as fast as you can with your skill! Then show off to your competitors how you beat their time on a stage and revel in their... wait what? They beat your time again?
