How it plays Etheriia - Travelogue is a single-player adult visual novel. You read the story, advance the dialogue with a click or the keyboard, and decide what the Warrior does whenever a choice comes up. There is no combat, no timer and no reflex test: you play at your own pace. The story Aerith, the goddess of dimensions, stopped paying attention to her own job and the worlds started bleeding into each other: robots in elven lands, medieval warriors in futuristic cities, scenery that loses quality and characters that move in choppy frames. You are the Warrior, sent by her from dimension to dimension to fix the damage, in a comedy that pokes fun at how visual novels get made. What you do in the game Read and advance the story. Scenes with illustrated backgrounds, characters whose expressions change line by line, video animations and voiced dialogue. Make choices. At set points in the story you pick between two paths. Each decision leads to a different scene and changes your Courage, Intelligence and Trust attributes. Play minigames.
