Hit the trail in this open-world birdwatching adventure, featuring real-world bird species! Feather Trail is a labor of love by a former bird biologist turned solo gamedev. You begin your journey in as a birder in Nearctica, a world of procedurally-generated pixel landscapes inspired by North American ecosystems. With a casual and non-linear storyline, the path ahead is up to you... Enjoy a wide variety of bird species, presenting diverse behaviors and challenges for identification through timing-based minigames (soaring overhead, hiding in shrubs, diving underwater, etc.) Challenge yourself to find the rare birds hidden in distinct habitats, migrating across the seasons Build yourself a cozy home on the road by upgrading your campsite, where you return each evening. Entice birds to visit with birdfeeders!
