- Challenge Map Update [2024/12/10] - 9 December 2024
Hello! Today's update introduces 5 new challenge maps to Dungeon Dev. These challenge maps feature a brief story cutscene set after the ending, along with more challenging levels for players to conquer. More challenging maps are planned for future updates, so stay tuned! Additionally, as a small improvement, the ending cutscene will no longer be skipped even if the “Skip Seen Story” option is enabled. Thank you!
- Leaderboard Update [2024/11/23] - 22 November 2024
Hello! With today's update, the leaderboard system has been added to Dungeon Dev. Now, when you clear a stage, the cost information will be saved to the Steam leaderboard. You can easily compare your performance with other players using the leaderboard graph and see how your record ranks. The leaderboard graph can also be accessed from the map selection screen. Additionally, you can check the overall records for each stage as well. Challenge yourself to compete with other players through the leaderboard system and clear maps with even lower costs! Hello! We’ve implemented an update for Dungeon Dev to incorporate the diverse feedback from our players after the game’s release. Here are the highlights of this update Enhanced Cutscene Effects We’ve added more dynamic movements to the Demon Lord’s dialogue illustrations, making the cutscenes feel more engaging and lively. Stage Success and Failure Effects To clearly convey the conditions for failure, the Demon Lord will now deliver a brief comment whenever a player meets the failure criteria for a stage. Of course, if you successfully design a dungeon, you’ll be met with well-deserved praise from the Demon Lord. Bug Fixes Fixed a bug where a hero who dies while obtaining a healing potion could remain in a "dead yet targetable" state by monsters. Hello! We have updated and fixed bugs in the DEMO version of Dungeon Dev. A big thank you to the Steam user Lily-an for reporting the bugs! Update Highlights Fixed an issue where the game would crash when entering a story map with the option to automatically skip already-viewed cutscenes enabled. Fixed a problem where all maps, including those not yet cleared, were unlocked. Updated the dialogue UI to clearly indicate that the ESC button can be used to skip dialogue. Thank you!

Hello! We've updated the demo version of Dungeon Dev. For players enjoying Next Fest, this update will focus on the demo version first. The full build, which can be accessed through Curator Connect, beta test keys, etc., will be updated at a later date. This update focuses on improving the visual appearance of the dungeon to make it feel less empty. The variety of dungeon floor tile patterns has been tripled, giving the dungeon a more visually diverse look. We've also added torch objects with lighting effects.
