  Hey guys, I’m in my truck right now. I got a camper on the back of it. I’m driving across the country with all my stuff in it and figuring out where I’m gonna live.I want to give some updates on Rusted Awakening.I really appreciate everyone who supported Rusted Awakening and given me feedback and all the bugs I need to fix. It’s great to hear some of you really enjoying the game This was a pure passion project. I wasn’t sure it would ever see the light of day. It’s the first game I released, and it started six years ago and was on and off for a variety of reasons. I didn’t know anything about coding. I didn’t know anything about how to structure a project at that time, so things were and still are a bit messy, which makes it more challenging than it should be to fix certain things.   A small launch-day update is now live.This update adds a clear loading screen when entering the game so it no longer appears to freeze after pressing AWAKEN.Also included:Improved transition into the opening sequenceSmall launch stability fixesEnemies walking through walls in the second levelSwitches not working if too closeIf you had trouble getting past AWAKEN earlier, please update the game and try again.Thanks to everyone who reported it.   After six years of development, RUSTED AWAKENING is finally available on Steam.What began as a boomer shooter became a one hour nightmare with brutal first person combat inspired by classic FPS games like DOOM and Quake.Awaken inside an underground facility where humanity is kept asleep and harvested by those who remain awake.They want to put you back under.You must find a way out.Thank you to everyone who followed the game, shared, and supported this project.Time to awaken.
