Unknown Darkness is a Lovecraftian tactical roguelike deckbuilder set in an alternate 1920s America, where the horrors of the Great War tore open the veil between realities. Lead a secret federal agency against cults, monsters, madness, and a forgotten god whose name was erased from history. LEAD THE FEDERAL PROTECTION AGENCY As Commander Elias Ford, a veteran and bearer of impossible secrets, you'll recruit operatives, investigate occult threats, and hold the last line between civilization and what lurks beyond the dark. Unknown Darkness fuses real history with Lovecraftian horror. The figures you'll encounter aren't just fictional characters. J. Edgar Hoover — a rising bureaucrat whose obsession with secrecy is rooted in horrors he has seen and will spend a lifetime denying Dwight D. Eisenhower — Ford's old rival from West Point, now overseeing something strange in Nevada... a site known only as "Area 51" Randolph Carter — lifted directly from Lovecraft's own writings, a time-displaced agent who has been present at key moments of Ford's entire life, and may know how it ends COMMAND TACTICAL CARD BATTLES Build your squad before deployment, then adapt when every plan collapses. Use cards, weapons, relics, covers, destructible terrain, and class synergies to survive brutal turn-based missions against cultists, beasts, and multi-phase bosses.
