  Hello adventurers! It's been awhile but the game will be featured in the upcoming Steam Nextfest! Because of this and the many changes the game's engine has gone through, a more polished and updated build is being provided! Feature Updates Training dummies are now located in the camp to test damage and builds. Engine optimizations for more responsive gameplay and runs on weaker hardware. • Game Patch 1.2.3 and Progress Update - 25 May 2024

  Hello Adventurers! As the game continues development (Chapter 2 is almost complete now!) we are rolling out some quality-of-life changes and bugfixes for players on the demo side of things, making sure that any bugs found during development don't impact the live player experience. Additions Added an indicator on the borders of the screen when a boss is no longer in view of the player for easier tracking. Spawn Area for Stage 1-4 was updated to match the other spawn areas in the game. Bugfixes Fix knockback effects that had bonus knockback (such as enemy charge attacks) not being applied to the player or monsters. Fix a bug where knockbacks that occur at the exact same location as a player or monster would cause a division by zero error. Fix the Health % stat, it simply was not working before...   Hello Adventurers, There is a new and highly requested feature in this update: Minimaps! While playing you may have noticed it was easy to get lost in the winding paths of the forest. To make navigation a little more sane, we have provided a minimap that updates itself as you explore! This way you can scout out potential locations you may have missed! The minimap normally appears in the upper-right corner and reveals itself as you explore the map. When revisiting a map in the future, the outline of the map you've already explored shows up faded, so you can still identify which paths you haven't taken on a new run. For those that prefer something a little more in-their-face, the new Minimap Toggle hotkey will let you switch between minimap modes now.   Updates: - Ground textures have been updated with more detail and variety. - Added damage vignette to HUD overlay when taking damage for more damage feedback. Fixed Bosses getting stuck in terrain outside of boss arenas. Bandages item description now clarifies that it is a cast. Merchant inventories and player inventories have slightly more room for item descriptions now and display equipment descriptions correctly. Auto-aim range slightly increased to improve usability.
