• Discontinuation of Atomic Arena - 3 April 2025

  I'm saddened to share that development on Atomic Arena is officially discontinued. Despite my passion for the project, it became increasingly clear that the technical debt and unexpected challenges were too great to overcome. Over time, I also realized that the project wasn’t going anywhere and had been poorly planned from the start. I wasn’t able to turn Atomic Arena into the game I had originally envisioned, and trying to push forward only made that more apparent. This was a tough call to make, but I’ve learned a lot through the process. Thank you to everyone who supported the project.

• Weapon system update. - 18 December 2024

  This update adds to the weapon system by adding new weapons that can be picked up and stored. The new weapons are: - Pipe - Crowbar - Sledge Hammer - Shield (is no longer attached to robot) While these weapons are not affected by buffs, they cannot be destroyed by enemy attacks. This will be expanded with a weapon upgrade system and more weapons in a future update.

• Movement Update - 17 October 2024

  This is a small patch which adds the option to choose between Controller and Camera movement directions.

• Atomic Arena Dungeon update - 13 October 2024

  This is the biggest update yet, adding a procedural dungeon which gets harder, the further you progress. - Added procedural dungeon - Performance improvements - Other optimizations

• Atomic Arena Demo Update v3.0 - 28 September 2024

  This update brings a massive performance increase: Disabled Lumen Global Illumination and Ray-Tracing due to massive VRAM usage and limited framerate Reduced texture sizes. Other performance optimizations

  EARLY ACCESS: Slightly Ambitious Games is a one-person indie studio, and I need your help to make this game the best it can be. Atomic Arena is still in active development, with many features yet to come and many bugs yet to be discovered and fixed. Please provide any feedback or ideas through the Steam Community Forums or on X @SAGames_GmbH. HP Reverb G2 Notice: This game can be played with this headset, however, while testing there was massive stuttering at 90 Hz and delayed visuals at 60Hz. Therefore this headset is not yet officialy supported.
