Speedway Survival is back in production after a one month break! The first update of the summer is here! Starting off small (but still important), we brought some quality of life updates in version 1.4.3. Options (Sound) The options menu was added in both the main menu and pause menu. For now, we only have sound control, but look forward for more options! UI Update (Fonts & Spacing) Font is now united across the entire game. The buttons were also rearranged so they have equal spacing. Pause Menu Update The pause menu is now added into endless mode as well! It doesn't have restart available, so don't try to abuse pausing for strategizing :( Save Data Your data is now saved whenever you play the game! For now, this means we will keep track of your high score in endless mode and the total monsters you killed in the game (which you can see in the credits). But in the future, this will come…

For the Steam release, I added a couple of changes based on the feedback I got from Games Y'all! Without further ado, here are the changes for version 1.4.2! UI Update The UI for the Game Over screen has been updated. Now, the retrying level button is at the top and being more accessible than restarting the game. Monster Balancing Monsters were balanced out a little. Thought it was weird to have a higher chance for the squirrel monster to drop the sundae than the other two monsters. Now, the item drop percentage of the eyeball monster and squirrel monster had swapped, making it easier to beat early levels and difficult to beat later levels. The UT Austin's Arts and Entertainment Technologies showcase on the 18th, and the Games Y’all April Meetup on the 20th. We are especially excited for Games Y’all, as it is one of the biggest indie game developer events in Austin!
