• PCVR vs Meta Quest 3: A Major Optimization Milestone - 16 July 2026

  Today we are sharing an important technical milestone for Whispers of the Void.We have completed a native standalone port of the entire public Steam demo for Meta Quest 3 and prepared a direct side-by-side comparison with the current PCVR build.Our goal was not simply to make the game run without a PC.   Long ago, before life existed on Earth, the Galactic Confederation united four powerful civilizations: Kartam, Varn, Sarus, and Kiri. They maintained peace with immense armies aboard colossal motherships, all powered by a precious resource—Edem. But over time, the Kartam vanished, merging into a "one mind" and leaving the galaxy. Without them, the remaining three civilizations waged war, culminating in a massive battle in the Yarus system, on the planet Cirus, each vying for control of Edem. In the heat of battle, an unexpected catastrophe struck—Cirus collapsed under its own mass, consuming the entire system and most of the fleets.
