- 🛠️ Hotfix 1.6.1 is here - 16 July 2026
Hello Survivors,Today, we’re bringing you a small hotfix to smooth out a few issues in the new Realm and keep your Endless Mode runs going as intended.🔧 Changelog✅ Events in the new Realm’s Endless Mode now spawn correctly after the 20-minute mark, instead of quietly vanishing into oblivion.✅ Added a separate volume control for ambient sounds, so you can adjust the atmosphere without changing the rest of the game’s audio.✅ Bosses in the Realm of Hades’ Endless Mode now spawn correctly. Their holidays are officially over ːsteamsadː🔧 Experiencing Fatal Errors? We have collected several solutions that have already worked for other players in this Steam thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2922410/discussions/0/571542958702190353/. Disabling Intel AI Boost appears to be the most commonly reported fix, so we recommend trying that first.Thank you for the warm reception of Update 1.6, and f…
- UPDATE 1.6 - Begin your Odyssey in a new realm with a free DLC - 10 July 2026
Hello, Survivors! In Greek myths, going home is rarely straightforward. There is usually a god, a curse, a monster - or all three - waiting on the way.Update 1.6 follows that tradition quite faithfully. This time, we bring you two things we are especially happy about: Odysseus joins Achilles: Survivor in a new FREE DLC, and Tartarus opens as the biggest Realm we have added since launch. So let us begin where all good trouble should begin: with a hero.Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story of that man skilled in all ways of contending, the wanderer, harried for years on end.\ New Survivor - Odysseus, the King of IthacaSome heroes win by strength.Odysseus prefers a plan that goes wrong for everybody else first. Fresh from the Odyssey and the world of Greek mythology, Odysseus joins Achilles: Survivor as a swift Marksman with high mobility. He is a great fit for players who like keep…
- Update 1.5 - The King and His Court - 18 May 2026
Hello, Survivors!Update 1.5 is here, and this one brings a bit of everything: a new optional DLC Survivor for players who enjoy summon builds, three new Powers available to everyone, two new Structures, a brand-new attribute for ally-focused playstyles, and a much less stubborn path to Rebirth. And since many of you have been sharing feedback about the early game, we also wanted to give you more interesting choices right from the start.Let’s begin with the optional part - and then move straight to the free additions for everyone else.\ A new Survivor joins the rosterFor those of you who enjoy spellcasting, summon builds, and the general fantasy of solving problems by arriving with your own army, we’ve added a brand-new playable Survivor: Skeleton King, the Cursed Necromancer. He is built around commanding the dead - and letting his loyal subjects do the dangerous part of the job. His Powe…
- Mini-update: We bring you Easter Treats and April Tricks - 31 March 2026
Hello, Survivors! It’s time for the most important holiday of the year*.We’re wishing you a calm Easter weekend - and a mildly cursed April Fools week!🥚 To celebrate for the next week, regular chests might behave… strangely. We won’t spoil it. Just open a few and see what our local Chick… Rooster God has been up to.🐣 There is one “treat” we can reveal: chests can now roll a Poison Cloud effect - and this one is staying in the game even after the event ends.🐥 And a small but important change: one of the achievements no longer requires you to actually use Rebirth. From now on, it’s enough to meet the requirements to perform Rebirth (for those of you who prefer to keep your progress intact or just don’t find the mechanic appealing). IMPORTANT: 🐔 If you get a chest surprise that made you smile, please let our design team know in the comments. They had a lot of fun coming up with ideas an…
- Update 1.4 - The Beast Escapes + New DLC - 18 February 2026
Hello, Survivors!Everybody likes to tell the story of Theseus and the Labyrinth. Update 1.4 starts a different tale: the monster is out, it’s angry, and it’s looking for a fight. And since you have been sending us a steady stream of feedback, we also added 2 most requested languages, rebalanced Rebirth a bit, and even added some fun stuff to the game. Let’s get started.\ New Survivor - Become the Beast of the LabyrinthIf you ever read the myth and thought “fine, but what about the Minotaur?” - we have something for you.Minotaur is a Warrior built to stay in the middle of the fight. His kit rewards you for standing your ground in the melee instead of running away. His unique power, Heavy Stomp, allows him to slam the ground and crush nearby enemies with the full weight of his hooves. Thanks to his talent, once you defeat 150 enemies using melee powers, a furious spectral echo is summoned, c…

Here is what has changed, all based on your feedback.PS: Keep reading - the last one is the most important ːzoteː🗝 Rebirth, now improvedRebirth was a powerful idea, but in practice it felt like you were giving up a lot for too little. Time to fix that.If you choose Rebirth, a new event can now spawn on maps: Pandora’s Box. Open it and things get serious fast. Tough enemies will spill out and try to end your run on the spot.Defeat them and you will receive three rounds of rewards:each round lets you pick 1 out of 4 Improvements for your existing PowersThis is meant to help you really use those extra Power slots you unlocked with Rebirth by leveling up much faster.🎯 Mouse controls and smarter aimingThis one was one of the most common requests on Stea…
- 🎃 Hades’ Little Trick (and Your Treat) - 31 October 2025
Survivors,The air feels different this week. Perhaps it’s the chill of autumn sweeping through Toruń, or perhaps it’s the wind from Tartarus itself creeping through the cracks between worlds. The fires burn lower, and the scent of smoke and carved pumpkin mixes strangely with ash. We’d call it a seasonal bug, but no. This time, it’s definitely a trick by Hades himself. To celebrate mortals’ curious habit of mixing fear with laughter, the Lord of the Dead has twisted the Basements into a grotesque parody of harvest cheer. What once hid secrets of the underworld now brims with pumpkins - foul, grinning things that spitting at anything that moves.Fear not, though. The spell will fade in a week’s time, and the pumpkins will return to whatever corner of the Underworld they escaped from.Yet not everything will vanish. In his strange generosity, Hades has allowed a few of his servants to stay. Th…
- Update 1.2 - Born Anew - 11 September 2025
Hello, Survivors! We’ve been hard at work these past few weeks, combing through your feedback and chasing down the most reported issues. Update 1.2 is a smaller patch, but it brings something for everyone: a new endgame feature, a golden new structure, and plenty of fixes and quality-of-life tweaks. ✨ New Endgame Feature: RebirthFor those of you who already maxed out the Favour tree, there is now a new challenge. You can sacrifice all that progress in exchange for an extra Power slot, opening up new build possibilities and pushing your late-game runs even further. 🏛️ New Structure: Midas StatueWhat’s better than gold? More gold! That’s why our new structure, Midas Statue, can transform enemies into gold… and make them drop Gold when slain. 🛠️ Quality of Life ImprovementsYou asked for more clarity and smoother play, so here’s what we added:Kamikaze enemies now play a distinct sound eff…
- Write Your Legend in Gold with our New Supporter Pack DLC - 14 August 2025
Survivors,In just over two weeks since release, you’ve carried Achilles: Survivor further than we could have alone. Hotfix 1.01, Hotfix 1.02, Crash Fix, and Update 1.1: The Gift of Midas were all built from your feedback, your bug reports, and your determination to make every run better. Some of you have asked for a way to support our games beyond just playing them. That’s why we made this small Supporter Pack - an optional DLC inspired by King Midas himself.Disclaimer: it’s purely cosmetic. There will be no P2W in our games, we’re strongly against it.So, what do you get?Your Survivors can wear gold. Every Survivor has a Midas‑touched version you can choose to look more stylish in battle. You can switch looks instantly in the character select screen, swapping between gold and your usual appearance whenever you feel like it.Your main menu shows a unique supporter badge that quietly says I…
- Update 1.1 - The Gift of Midas - 14 August 2025
Survivors - we didn’t want you waiting long. It’s been just over two weeks since the full release of Achilles: Survivor, and you’ve already filled our Discord, reviews, and inboxes with feedback. Some of it was praise (thank you 💙), some was bug reports (thank you, too!), and plenty was “can you please fix this now?”The answer is “yes, of course, we will try our best!”So we rolled up our sleeves, grabbed a pot of molten gold from King Midas’ vault, and forged Update 1.1 as quickly as we could. Almost every change you’ll read here comes directly from your comments and ideas.✨ New Power: Tears of MidasFire golden projectiles from both sides of your Survivor, slicing through enemies with style worthy of a king’s treasury. King Midas was said to turn everything he touched into gold - an extraordinary gift that became his curse. In Achilles: Survivor, his tears fell heavy, each drop carrying…

- Achilles: Survivor (PC) Review - 7 August 2025
Achilles: Survivor is an action roguelike, bullet hell game from developer Dark Point Games . Set in mythological Ancient Greece, the game aims to provide a unique take on the frantic, fast-paced genre. Inspired by other modern titles in the genre, such as Vampire Survivors and the excellent Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, Achilles: Survivor offers some unique mechanics and progression systems that aim to help it stand out from these other titles. Leveraging the robust mythos provided by its setting and theme, Achilles: Survivor invites players to explore four settings, each providing more powerful enemies to destroy, or die trying. As with many titles in the genre, Achilles: Survivor doesn’t spend much time unpacking a deep, story-rich motivation for the actions of the player, instead relying on the setting and theme as a backdrop for the slaughtering of endless streams of unique and cha…

Hi Survivors,Wow, what a week it’s been. We’re aware of the issues you’ve been reporting - and we wanted to give you a little update on what we’re doing about them, and assure you that a fix is coming soon...But before that, there’s something else we need to say:THANK YOUWe honestly have no words for the sheer amount of support, feedback, and love we’ve received over the past few days. We’re just a small indie team from Toruń, (Poland), and while it might sound cheesy, we genuinely didn’t expect this kind of response.Let’s start with a few highlights:Our all-time concurrent player peak jumped from 341 (during Early Access launch) to 1357. That’s a 300%+ increase! For comparison, our previous game, Achilles: Legends Untold, had a peak of 470. We’re not saying we could storm Troy together now… but we might have the numbers. We’ve also received a lot of love from streamers - just look at the…
