  • 25,000 Wishlists for Defcon Zero: Frontlines of Tomorrow - 11 August 2026

25,000 Wishlists for Defcon Zero: Frontlines of Tomorrow We’re a little late sharing this one.We actually reached 25,000 wishlists on Steam last week, but we’ve been so deeply focused on development that we completely forgot to stop and celebrate. And honestly, that might be the best reason to be late.25,000 people have now said, “I want to play this”, and that means an incredible amount to our entire team. What started as an idea has grown into a real game, a real world, and a growing community around it. Seeing more and more people take an interest in what we’re building is incredibly exciting.25,000 is a huge milestone for us, but we truly believe this is just the beginning. There is still so much to build, improve, reveal and share. To everyone who has wishlisted Defcon Zero, followed our development, shared our content, joined our community, given us feedback, or simply supported us al…

  • Something's coming next month. Here's a peek. Work in progress. - 10 August 2026

We are working on something for next month... hope you like it :)

  • Dev Update 27! - 19 July 2026

Hey everyone, new dev update is out, hope you like it!

  • Meet the Bulldog AA System | Anti-Air Upgrade - 30 June 2026

The Bulldog AA System is an anti-air missile upgrade for ERA's Bulldog scout vehicle. The Bulldog is fast, light, and operated by ERA's most aggressive drivers, soldiers recruited from poor neighborhoods for their instinctive ability behind the wheel in difficult terrain. The AA System straps anti-air missiles onto that platform and sends it wherever threats appear. It won't intercept everything. ERA has more capable dedicated anti-air structures for serious engagements. But the AA System turns every Bulldog patrol into a mild headache for anything flying low... And sometimes a mild headache is exactly what wins a position.

  • Meet the T.M.V. | ERA's Tactical Medical Vehicle - 23 June 2026

The T.M.V. is ERA's mobile field hospital, a vehicle that deploys into a structure and heals infantry in the surrounding area.Operating one requires elite medical school credentials and proven stress resilience. The crews almost never sleep. ERA soldiers count on them.In the field, T.M.V. teams quietly use Black Rock Dust as a painkiller and bloodstopper for soldiers who've lost limbs. It's illegal. ERA hasn't tried to stop them. It works.

  • Meet the Warden A.P.C. | ERA's Mortar Transport - 16 June 2026

The Warden A.P.C. is ERA's armored transport vehicle, armed with a mortar and capable of carrying infantry.ERA assigns the Warden to soldiers who scored the lowest on their tank exams, just enough to pass. They act as support: lobbing mortar shells at anything in range and offering a ride to anyone who needs one. Not the best at artillery. Not the best at transport. ERA's military knows it. The Warden doesn't care.

  • Meet the Technician | ERA's Field Engineer - 9 June 2026

The Technician is ERA's field repair unit, the person responsible for keeping structures, vehicles, and bridges operational under combat conditions. He comes from engineers who grew up working on advanced farming machinery in the Agrotech Farmlands. ERA recognizes that instinctive technical ability and puts it to use on the battlefield. He can fix almost anything. He would rather be somewhere else.

  • Meet the Bullfrog | ARM's Hovering Flamethrower - 2 June 2026

The Bullfrog is ARM's flamethrower vehicle — and one of the most dangerous things you can face on an open battlefield. It hovers above any terrain, water included. No natural barrier stops it. Its Hellspit ability fires three arcing spits of burning fuel into the air, raining fire across a wide area. Dense infantry formations won't survive a well-placed Hellspit.ARM doesn't build things that look good. It builds things that work.

  • Meet the Shell Turret — ERA's Anti-Vehicle Platform - 30 May 2026

The Shell Turret is ERA's dedicated anti-vehicle turret — heavy, precise, and built to stop enemy armor before it reaches what matters.ERA's approach to defense is about control and prevention. The Shell Turret sits on the line and makes sure armor doesn't get past it.

  • Defcon Zero: Frontlines of Tomorrow | Dev Update #26 - 29 May 2026

    New update out!

  • Defcon Zero 2026 Roadmap | Q4: Polish and Demo (Oct–Dec) - 18 May 2026

The final roadmap post.Q4 — October to December: Polish and DemoQA. Polish. Bug fixing. Notes. And at the end of it — the demo. That's our target. That's what we're building toward.Foundation → Core Mechanics → Game Slice → Polish and Demo. Four quarters, one destination. We'll elaborate on each stage as we get closer. This roadmap is the frame. The content fills in over time. Thank you for following along.

  • Meet the Bulldog AV Launcher — ERA's Anti-Vehicle Missile Upgrade - 12 May 2026

The Bulldog AV Launcher is ERA's anti-vehicle missile turret upgrade — the Bulldog platform fitted with guided missile capability.ERA's modular design means the same base platform can fill fundamentally different battlefield roles. The AV Launcher adds guided anti-vehicle fire to a turret that previously relied on direct ballistic engagement.Same chassis. Different threat. That's ERA engineering.

  • Defcon Zero 2026 Roadmap | Q3: Beginning the Game Slice (Jul–Sep) - 7 May 2026

Starting September 11 — we enter the stage of building the game slice, the demo you are going to play. A polished section of the game, targeted at content creators and players. This is the beginning of that stage. Not the end. New visuals will be shared as we progress, and we'll keep you updated as we get closer. One more roadmap post coming next week: Q4.

  • Meet the Armbush | ARM's Ambush Turret - 5 May 2026

The Armbush is ARM's ambush turret and one of the units that best captures what makes ARM a fundamentally different faction to play. ERA builds defensive lines. ARM sets traps. The Armbush is built around a single concept: wait in the right spot, then strike with force. The name is deliberate —> ARM + Ambush.

  • Defcon Zero 2026 Roadmap | Q2: Core Mechanics (Apr–Jun) - 30 April 2026

We're constructing a formidable build, testing new mechanics we want in the game, and continuing to create assets for the demo. A small QA round may happen during this stage — more on that when we get closer.Q2 is already running. Two more roadmap posts coming in May covering Q3 and Q4. • Q1 2026 | The Foundation | Road Map - 23 April 2026

January to March wasn’t about showing big flashy features. It was about building the ground everything else will stand on. In these three months, we: • Established the studio and our working environment • Built the infrastructure we needed to scale properly • Started refactoring the project into something stronger, cleaner, and future-ready A lot of this work happens behind the scenes. It’s not always visible, but it’s the difference between something that works and something that lasts. This quarter set the tone for everything ahead. And today, we’re standing on top of that foundation, stronger, more focused, and ready to push forward. More updates coming soon.

  • The Paramedic is ERA's field medic! - 20 April 2026

He heals infantry in the field, deploys medpacks that allies can pick up, and gains resistance while actively healing under fire. He's not just support, he's a force multiplier.

  • Concept Art | The Crusher - 13 April 2026

ARM uses the Crusher to harvest B.R.E (Black Rock of Eros) the most valuable resource on the planet. Every unit ARM produce, every army it raises, starts here. The name isn't just a design choice. This is what ARM do, they crush.

  • Defcon Zero | Update #25 - 7 April 2026

The past few months have been intense behind the scenes. A lot of work, a lot of progress, and many things we’ve been waiting to finally share. This update gives you a real look at where Defcon Zero stands today, and where we’re heading next. We’ll keep it short, take 13 minutes and dive in. Hope you enjoy it.
