- 1 Year Anniversary & Sequel Announcement! - 26 May 2026
🎉 1 year later!Today marks 1 year since Astrumis: Survive Together launched!Thank you to everyone who played and supported the game over the past year. Now, on the game’s 1-year anniversary, I’m excited to officially announce that I’m currently developing a sequel to Astrumis! It's being built on the foundation of the original game, with major gameplay and system improvements based on all the feedback I’ve received both positive and negative.🛠️ Building the SequelOne of the biggest goals for the sequel is making sure both players are constantly involved throughout the experience (no more waiting around in hiding spots :D ), while also expanding the threat itself with multiple enemy types featuring improved AI, distinct behaviors, and more tactical encounters. The Survivor is no longer just hiding and waiting - they now actively fight invisible alien threats using firearms and combat to…

You can always tweak them up later once you see how it runs on your device.Thank you all for your support!Tyci

This has been a solo project from start to finish — a true passion project. Inspired by some of my favorite sci-fi and horror experiences, I set out to create a co-op game that really leans hard into teamwork, communication, and suspense. Whether you’re guiding your partner from mission control or sneaking through dark corridors yourself, survival depends on how well you work together. 👉 To celebrate the launch, there's a brand-new trailer showcasing the game! - Friend's Pass Incoming! - 8 May 2025
Converting the Demo into a Friend's Pass – Here’s What’s Happening! Hey everyone! First off — thank you so much for the overwhelming support and interest in the demo! It's been incredible seeing so many of you jumping in, sharing feedback, streaming, and getting excited about the game. The response has been way beyond what we expected, and it means the world. ❤️ 🎮 What’s Next: The Friend's Pass I'm excited to share that we’re now preparing to convert the demo into a “Friend's Pass” for launch! If you’re not familiar with the concept, a Friend's Pass lets a player who doesn’t own the game join a friend who does, and experience the full game together — for free. It’s perfect for co-op titles like ours, where the fun really shines when shared. Here’s how it will work: If your friend owns the game, you’ll be able to download the Friend Pass version and join them in any part of the game. Fo…

- Astrumis – Releases on the 26th of May !! - 22 April 2025
The wait is almost over. 🕰️ After nearly three years of solo development, I’m proud (and slightly terrified) to announce that Astrumis - Survive Together will officially launch on Steam on the 26th of May 2025! 🎮💀 To mark the release date, I’ve put together a brand-new trailer, offering another look at gameplay. It dives deeper into the team-based terror, the growing tension, and the unexpected twist that turns cooperation into something far more unsettling. Playtests are now live on Steam—just hit the “Request Access” button on the store page to join in. Try the game early with your coop partner and feel free to share your thoughts after playing. 🧑🤝🧑 Every bit of feedback helps. If you’ve been following along, thank you—it truly means the world. And if this is your first look, welcome to the darkness. 🌑 Astrumis is all about sticking together, talking things through, and relyi…
- Devlog #3 - "Asteroid Escape" level spotlight - 12 March 2025
Hey, survivors! 😊 Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on one of the most intense missions in Astrumis: Survive Together—a high-stakes cooperative challenge that will test both players' coordination and reflexes. Get ready for "Asteroid Escape", where one player pilots a spaceship through an asteroid field while the other fights against shifting gravity inside! 🚀 🚀 Mission Overview In Asteroid Escape, the two players take on distinct but interconnected roles: Yang is at the helm, piloting the ship through gaps in an oncoming asteroid field. The ship can rotate in multiple directions to fit through tight spaces, but every movement shifts the entire interior, affecting John inside. John is inside the ship, dealing with the chaos Yang creates. Every time the ship rotates, John's entire world flips—walls become floors, ceilings become walkways, and he must adapt fast to avoid getting st…
- Devlog #2 - Mission Control Rework - 1 February 2025
Hey everyone 👋 Today, I’m excited to talk about a major update coming to Mission Control in Astrumis Survive Together! After some great feedback from players, we’ve reworked the role to provide more engagement and strategy, addressing the concern that Mission Control often felt like they were just waiting around with little to do. The Old System: In the original design, Mission Control had the ability to toggle between various cameras freely. Their role was mainly about providing directions to the other player by guiding them through the environment and warning them about incoming monsters. While this was effective for a while, we realized that it left Mission Control feeling like a passive observer, leading to some complaints about limited engagement. The New System: Mission Control now has to actively manage power resources in order to access different camera feeds. Rather than simpl…
- Optimization Update 1.05 - Graphics & Network Optimized + Fixes - 7 January 2025
Hey everyone! 🫡 Many people had issues with performance and lags even on powerful machines, so I decided that the next priority was optimization. The most important thing was the GPU - there were far too many super-high quality assets & textures, so I reduced their resolution. It's barely noticable to the player but improves the performance a lot. Many high requested bugfixes appear in this patch as well - full list down below 👇. General: Achieved a stable 60 FPS on recommended settings. Network optimization - reduced network lag. New: Speed lines vfx added while flying the ship in the Interlude level Logo font implemented in some places for a cleaner look Fixes: Proper usernames appear during character select for both players Visual bug where John's body parts were not in sync while moving Opening the in-game Pause menu will no longer hide the mouse for some players Fixed a bug makin…
- Devlog #1 - Achievements! - 23 December 2024
Achievement hunters rejoice! This is the first entry to a devlog series for the game, Astrumis - Survive Together! While I post regular updates on our Discord server, I still wanted to share some more info with the Steam community. I wanted to talk about a new feature that I know is very important to some of the playerbase - achievements. 🏆 Sneak Peek: Some of The Achievements I decided to add level completion achievements for both characters individually to further encourage players to try the game in a different role. It really is a completely different experience playing as both John and Yang! 👥 This one is pretty straightforward, I wanted to award the most skilled players for beating the minigames at record times! ⏰ There will be audiologs from Dr Antonius scattered around the levels. Each one describes the experiments done on the Monster, so you can learn more about his origins a…
- Patch 1.04 - New Features & Fixes! - 14 November 2024
Hey! Thanks so much to everybody who played during Steam Next Fest (or after)! I recieved a lot of feedback from you, so this patch is to address those issues! New features: Skipping cutscenes is now possible! Requires confirmation from both players. ːsteamhappyː At first I was hesitant to add this since I worked hard on the curtscenes, but after hearing player feedback that this hurts replayability I decided to add it! Streamer mode added. Some streamers/youtubers have recieved copyright strikes, so this mode will mute licensed music. Added a tutorial notification about using the number keys to switch cameras as Mission Control during the Prologue level Added camera shake effect when boosting the spaceship Bugs fixed: It's no longer possible to go back inside the ship from the beginning of the Spacewalk level. Fixed an issue where sometimes it was not possible to finish the demo after…
