New Legendary Bot: Nova A new Legendary bot has arrived! Nova is a Legendary Sniper who attacks enemy bots with bursts of plasma, and can harness the power of dying suns to regenerate itself. - Endgame Progression Changes From Level 20-30 - 4 December 2024
Botmasters, we've been listening to your feedback and are here with another update for Botworld Odyssey that reduces the amount of grinding you need to do to upgrade your bots between Level 20 to 30. These changes will make it easier to progress through the endgame, and will mean you won't be required to hunt down as many Alpha Bots as you did before. Endgame Progression Changes: Alpha bots that used to drop one Essence upon being defeated will now drop three Essences When you open an Epic Danger Zone chests, you are always guaranteed to get at least one Essence When you open a blue chest or catch a runaway chestbot throughout the world, those chests will now have a chance to drop either rare scrap items, or an Essence The cost of Essences in the Shop has been further reduced to 1500 coins each The chance for Alpha Bots to spawn with a rare or an epic Bot Style has been slightly increas…

Hello again Botmasters! As we continue to work on Botworld Odyssey, we are listening to and taking into account all of your feedback and have the following improvements to share with you. Economy Changes: We’ve greatly reduced the amount of scrap that is required to upgrade your bots once they hit Level 20. You will still need to seek and out defeat an Alpha Bot to acquire an Epic Essence for that bot each level, but the number of other materials required has been reduced. Additionally, we have reduced the cost of Essences in the Shop from 5000 coins each to 3000 coins each. For players who are having trouble obtaining Rare upgrade materials like Chaser Cores and Brawler Batteries, we’d like to let you know that Alpha Bots will be guaranteed to drop a Rare material if you already have an Epic Essence for that bot, but have not yet used it in an upgrade. - Offline Play and Progress Reset Hotfix Now Live - 25 October 2024
Hello Botmasters! We're so thrilled that you're enjoying your time with Botworld Odyssey. To address some immediate feedback, we've released a small hotfix that includes the following changes: Offline play: You can now play Botworld Odyssey completely offline, on both desktop and Steam Deck. Progress Reset: You will now be able to reset your progress from within the game, if you so choose. To do this, open the Settings menu and choose the "Reset Progress" option. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Resetting progress will close the game, and the next time you open it you will begin again from the start. NOTE: If this process doesn't work, please try again while disabling Steam Cloud support, and then re-enabling Steam Cloud after resetting your progress, and choosing to overwrite your Steam Cloud saves with your new local saves.
