• Patch 1.31 - HUD Icons And Graphics - 14 June 2025

  Patch 1.31 adds a few HUD icons, making the game slightly less austere in appearance.Obviously this is cosmetic- no changes to the story.

• Patch 1.30 - Rodent Content Update - 13 June 2025

  Patch 1.30 adds the portrait for your optional pet, the Black Rat. To enable it in an existing save or when migrating from DEMO, just use Skill - Fast Travel.PS. The game mostly uses Vexed Enigma assets, but this particular portrait for the rat is original and it was more work than it looks.

• Patch 1.29c - Hellish Difficulty Level/Ultra Realism - 12 June 2025

  If you feel that the game is too easy and too unrealistic for your character, the patch 1.29c allows you to try the hellish and very realistic difficulty level, above just merely realistic/harsh.Would you like your character to heal from minor wounds for a week, if not longer, to feel the realism of your in-game pain? (or, what is more likely, to just die?)Patch 1.29c, while it's not mandatory, gives you such an option.Yes, it's still possible to complete the game, if you are wise and lucky and patient- but truly hellish.

  Patch 1.29 improves some graphics (logo, menu, credits) and the user interface. Special thanks to all friends- without you such changes wouldn't be possible.

  This is a pretty minor patch that mainly improves a few icons.

• Patch 1.27 - Western Wall, Contaminated Lake - 31 May 2025

  Patch 1.27 adds two minor maps to the west from the Border Checkpoint and the Refugee Camp Ruins. These are not very important, but allow you a slightly different way to find Julia's Camp. No changes to the main story.

  This minor patch improves the quest about repair of the car (the one near the Church). It also allows you to enjoy clean water in your house (assuming that you own the house and do some repairs).

  Minor patch 1.23 adds a new minor character, trader and a side-quest. Also, it solves a major bug with the medical bag (permanently disappearing map). There are no changes to the main story.

  The patch adds a very minor character and a quest: Tony The Homeless. It's not important for the main storyline.

• Patch 1.12 - Poisonous Bath - 2 May 2025

  Patch 1.12 introduces a new way to clean your character without soap or clean water — by using the cheapest public pool in Foxtown (added to the Red Engine Salvage location). But beware: your character’s health may suffer for it. Patch 1.12 also includes minor improvements to several icons and graphics, and adds a small side quest. There are no changes to the main story.

• Patch 1.11.1 - Yes The Game Is Still Alive - 30 January 2025

  While patch 1.11.1 is relatively minor, and changes mainly some details at the start of the game (nothing that could impact the plot) & fixes bugs- I just wanted to thank all players for their support and interest. The game is finished, but not dead- and you can still expect support.

• Patch 1.11 - Map to The Abbey - 29 November 2024

  This minor patch allows for alternative way to find the Abbey- just by buying a proper map. This changes nothing in the previously existing ways to progress the plot.

• Patch 1.10 - Overall Improvements - 24 October 2024

  Patch 1.10 mostly polishes various content added as smaller updates after 1.09. In particular, you can now "free" the dissatisfied communist from the commune, and even add them as a companion (but no, that's not a romance option) for a while. Whether you want to deal with it is a separate matter, but there is an important choice that can be made.

• Patch 1.09 - Small Companions Rework - 2 October 2024

  Patch 1.09 slightly improves companions, especially Julia and Nadia. More interactions are possible- from giving them more food or buying them candy, to improving relations with them by the way of giving them (some, and only once) books. It only offers more options, nothing existing was removed.

• Patch 1.08 - Small Romance And Banking - 27 September 2024

  Patch 1.08 allows you a small additional "romance" on the side, assuming that you decide to save two sisters from slavery. But beware, your main love interest, if any, may not be pleased. It also adds very basic banking - you can now deposit and withdraw money from the loan shark and his "bank". This may be slightly useful if you are bad at savings or want a few dollars protected from bandits and in-game events. It allows you to withdraw even when "too tired to talk."

  The patch 1.07 introduces autosave. It was obvious to include, and I apologize to all players for not having it working from the start.

Usually I would classify something like that as minor update, not major one, but I heard many complains. So I want this patch note to be especially visible. Hopefully it works well - feedback is welcome.
