  A Flawless start Tutorial Access Fix: Some content creators didn’t access the tutorial due to a save file issue where the game didn’t transition correctly after the cutscene. This has now been fixed, ensuring that everyone plays the tutorial smoothly and only once. Generator Interaction Feedback: A gameplay notification has been added when attempting to interact with the generator if no blackout has occurred. I'm actively refining the game's rough edges to make it shine, so stay tuned: exciting updates are coming! For now, enjoy leveling up in the facility! 🚀

  An increasingly heated fight against time Tired of not having enough tools at your disposal to survive? Introducing The Altar Replica, an object that channels resonance for the abomination and that you can disrupt with your Chronus Abyssus to delay the next mutation of the unclean being. Replica of the Altar Just as mutative bags speed up the Mutation of Abomination by two minutes, altars slow it down by two. Now we're playing ( almost ) on a level playing field! Speaking of mutative pouches, here's a new gadget for you: M particle detector! This gadget detects M particles inside the mutative pouches, indicating where they are so you can destroy them, search every tiny room to unearth this valuable aid!   Patch 0.1.4.2: A Comfortable Horror Some content creators have rightly pointed out that Mutation's immersive first-person perspective caused nausea for some players. To address this and improve accessibility, I’ve introduced the option to enable or disable head bobbing and motion blur. Along with the ability to adjust controller sensitivity, this should make the game more comfortable to play; hopefully reducing the need for ginger candies! • New tutorial and better options - 11 January 2025

  A New Tutorial and Improved Options Hi everyone, Manuel here, the developer of Mutation. I’ve noticed that many content creators and players weren’t satisfied with the tutorial, and to be honest, I wasn’t either. I apologize for that! At the time, I didn’t have enough resources or time to create a better experience. Today, I’m excited to announce that a brand-new tutorial level is now available with the latest update! This updated tutorial covers the game’s core mechanics, providing a much smoother introduction to Mutation. I’ve also noticed that some players weren’t seeing any changes in the options menu when tweaking settings. This was because many didn’t press the “Apply Changes” button.
